No pricing given for the 88" but I agree the 77" should sell a lot more units in 2019 and maybe the price will drop a couple Gs in the next few months...that's what would make the C8's drop if stock still remains when it happens.
Once again, just an opinion of mine, I'm not psychic
Yeah, with the 77C9 not materializing before May, there's probably another month+ of 77C9 inventory that LG will bleed off, but it's unlilkely they will drop much below $4500 (unless sales volumes drop significantly).

Oh, and CNET has come out and predicted a $45K MSRP for the 88Z9: https://www.cnet.com/news/lg-2019-ol...ike-last-year/

"And of course LG's rep didn't even hint at pricing, but since Samsung's 85-inch 8K LCD is 15 grand, I'll be surprised if this TV doesn't cost three times as much."

Beach Camera via Rakuten has select LG OLEDs on sale after you apply the corresponding coupon codes listed below.

Free hipping.

Note, must be signed into your account to apply coupon codes. Some folks have complained of Rakuten and I have never used them for TV purchase, but I did make 2 electronic purchases in the last year without issue. I believe the service will be mostly based on the 3rd party seller and in this case Beach Camera is very reputable. I would even venture to say, you could call Beach direct and the would most likely match this price.

Sorry, I maybe should been more specific.
I ordered on 2/27. It took an extra day or 2 to process because part of the deal was signing up for a PC Richard CC.
That resulted in another $50 discount offered by the CSR I was talking to, plus 24 months same as cash.

I'm a bit hestitant to post anything until after the deal is done and the TV was in the house and confirmed not DOA or freight damaged.
Never had a large flat panel direct shipped before. Always bought retail like BB or Video Only prior.
The whole process was very smooth. It's apparent this company knows what they're doing & is very well run much like B&H Photo.
CSR know what they're doing & answered questions I had immediately.
I would definitely buy from them again.

Just tried to purchase a 65" LG C8 with coupon code BCH200 and Rakuten/Beach Camera replied: "Please enter a valid coupon code and try again."

The Beach promo expired last night. But they have another:

Electronic Express via Rakuten has 65" LG OLED65C8PUA for $2025 - $225.01 w/ coupon code EE225 = $1799.99.
Shipping is free.

This one will likely expire sometime tonight

MrPickEm,

The Electronic Express code that you just sent appears to work just fine. Thanks for the fast response and the expiration tip.

I wanted to report back that my Greentoe order of the C8 77" was delivered just fine. Arrived via FedEx on a pallet (that the driver removed). Not double boxed, but not even a scratch on the box and was from one of the authorized dealers listed on the LG site. $4,499 (no tax, no shipping). Hanging in my basement and beautiful. The only issue was that it took a couple extra days because of FedEx not having a driver that had a box truck avail in my area to deliver. They wanted to send an 18 wheeler, but they wouldn't have been able to turn around on my street - hence the delay.

I purchased this TV using this code on Saturday. But now they have cancelled the order without explanation....

This is the second time a seller has done this to me in several days! Are any of these sellers which price the 65" bellow $2000 legit at all?

That is unfortunate. Strange, but there are several vendors that have sold many 65's under 2K including Beach Camera, BuyDig, Greentoe, Massdrop, Google Express, NewEgg, FirstClassTV, B&H and I'm sure there are others.

Currently only active offer is with firstclasstv for $1799 They are based in Florida so Fla residents get taxed and most others do not. Everything I have seen has been good with them other than not being an authorized dealer which does not effect warranty with LG

If your deal was through Rakuten, I'm not surprised. The one with firstclassTVs should be solid.

BTW, I got my C865 from P.C. Richard. $1750 out the door. The extra $50 off was for signing up for their CC with 24months SAC.
First time I dealt with them. First class company. Like B&H without the attitude although they're typical New Yawrk. A bit gruff at first with people who don't get to the point but very nice

Also much thanks to Mr Pickem for his excellent\numerous deal posts.
Thanks also to all the others who posted deals as well.
Invaluable especially with the way deals came & went this year.

Be careful, First Class TVs is rated very poorly at this internet review site (https://www.sitejabber.com/reviews/firstclasstvs.com). I was ready to purchase an LG OLED from them, until I found this site and its not so great customer comments. I don't have any personal experience with First Class TVs, positive or negative, but I think I will wait until I hear some positive purchase experiences about them on this AVS Forum.

Their eBay store reviews suggest otherwise. That site you linked to is probably a scam site itself.

Yeah, they have 3714 positive transactions and zero negatives so apparently everyone who buys from them through eBay had a good experience. If I buy the 77" C8 from them it would definitely be via eBay rather than their online store because they can't try to add an insurance charge on to an eBay transaction.

Looking for suggestions. I submitted my Citi card price rewind (for the 65" C8 purchase) I made recently using Firstclasstvs pricing online and they came back and said its not an eligible website. I cannot seem to find any other deals much less than what I paid ($2050). Anyone else try ebay or any other vendors that night work in this situation?

they deny ebay vendors a lot, probably would have worked if you used their website... https://www.firstclasstvs.com/

I had used their actual website the first time around. The adjuster claimed it was not a legit website/business?? I will try the one you listed above and see what happens. I think they do their best to try and deny these claims. B.S. if you ask me

CITI card price rewind question

I've never used the CITI price rewind before and wondering how picky they are at matching prices?

I just moved and need to buy either a 65" C8 or B8 this weekend and know the prices should be dropping soon as the 2019's roll out. So would y'all recommend I go to my local Best Buy or Costco and purchase with my CITI Costco card and then keep an eye out here over the next 60 days for deals to submit to CITI? I could also keep an eye on the Costco price for the next 90 days to get price match from them.

Can you make more than one claim if you find an even lower price after making your original claim within the 60 day window?

I tried to get my local Best Buys to match Newegg's price on the B8 but they weren't having it because it wasn't shipped and sold from Newegg. Would CITI say the same thing if I tried a price rewind using 3rd party sellers?

You might be able to get Citi to cover with price rewind. However, the maximum price rewind refund is now only $200, so it's not a big deal either way; back in 2017, I was able to get a $500 refund when a TV I bought in October dropped by $500 for Black Friday.

found it;

"Exactly as others describe it, it's a scam; they list the tv much lower, then call you the next day saying the freight carrier requires insurance on your 'free' shipping. Cancelled order, don't waste your time."
