actually just seen this....

Authorized Dealer via Google Shopping has 65" LG OLED65C9PUA
for $2496.99 - $647 (automatically applied at checkout) - $151 w/ promo code GJBTGP = $1698.99
Shipping is free

Price is good through Sunday and although they did not mention vendor, my guess in BuyDig

Anyone here familiar with "Grouped Audio?" They're allegedly offering the 65" C9 for $1649 with free shipping and no tax. https://www.groupedaudio.com/Product...de=OLED65C9PUA

Just wondering if it's another 'too good to be true' scam / upsell website posing as a legitimate business, or if they're legitimate.

firstclasstv thru ebay is again offering the 65C9 for $1699

https://www.ebay.com/itm/254170006574

Don't confuse firstclasstv seller on eBay with firstclasstv.com as they are totally different vendors in different states. The website has a bad history of bait and switch, while I have heard nothing bad about the eBay seller.

Five-Star-Buy has it today at 1699 link

Not as familiar with them but have seen a couple people on forums say they purchased there without issue.

So I think the floor on the 77 LG OLED this year will be $4999 via mainstream (BB, Amazon, etc) as I just got Costco's holiday flyer and the LG 77 C9 will be $4949 starting 11/18 through 12/2 which to me is Costco's Black Friday sales period. So now will the Sony A9G be $4999 for Black Friday as well or will we see it bump back up soon.

I have seen some people saying the LG C9 77 has been as low as $3999 via authorized online, what about the Sony? The only way I would consider online is via a dealer that will open the box inspect the display for uniformity issues, run it 200 hours and calibrate it.

Sony 77A9G (Also XBR65X900E and XBR55X900E)
Denon x7200WA
Oppo BD-203
Klipsch RP-280F / RC-62ii / RP-140SA / RS-35 / RS-25

We know that isn't going to happen.

I bought both of my plasma's online. The first one was bought in 2003, and the last one in 2012, and I have not had a problem with either one. I would not buy from anyone who was not an authorized dealer.

Just pulled the trigger on the 65 C9 on Google Shopping through BuyDig. Thought about waiting for Black Friday but I already saved enough for the original price and figured it may only drop a few hundred more anyway. Now what to do with my 10 year old 42 inch Pano Plasma..hmm...

I want to buy a 55" C9 on black friday. Right now at most retailers it's between $1549 (Costco) and $1599 (pretty much everywhere else).

I realize that nobody here has a crystal ball, but I was wondering if anyone has a guess as what it could sell for on black friday?

Right now, I am leaning towards Costco since he told me to wait until black friday before considering a purchase.

I ended at $1800 for the C9. The link posted by mrpickem above takes you to the page. However, this now happens: "This item is no longer available from the store you picked but here's another way to buy." It looks like its no longer available from BuyDig. If you go to their site directly, its not in stock either. My order went through at around 12PM EST today. I got the email confirmation. I wouldn't be surprised though if they tell me its not available. We shall see!

Yeah, I thought about the same thing. However, I really wanted the 65" for the room it will be in. No way for me to tell unfortunately. Wouldn't surprise me if its around $1100 or $1200 though. But again, no way to know for sure. Personally I am willing to accept a $200-$300 difference from the $1800 come black friday for a product of this price. If I can get 8-10 years out of the TV (my current plasma is still rockin' 10 years later) then I think its worth the investment.

No way. Greentoe.com is not an authorized retailer of LG, which means that I get no warranty whatsoever buying from them.

https://www.lg.com/us/authorizeddeal...ized_retailers

Greentoe.com is actually on LGs unauthorized list.

I suppose I could purchase a warranty from greentoe, but in that case it would likely cost more than what I could get elsewhere from an authorized retailler.

If I could get it for under $1000 through them, I suppose I'd consider taking the risk.

LG has confirmed numerous times that they don't care where you buy the TV. Authorized or not they will honor the warranty.

Most of these places are middlemen. Order from them and don't be surprised if your invoice comes from Beach Camera (Buydig) which is an authorized seller anyway.

How many people have you spoken to at LG? From the LG website...

LG Electronics Inc. only provides warranty services for products purchased from Authorized Resellers. Products purchased from unauthorized resellers are not subject to warranty services. Before buying an LG product, please review the list below to find an authorized LG Electronics Inc. dealer where you can make a purchase.
