newegg has the 77 for $3700 through a 3rd party. I finalized my $3900 today through Greentoe. This is my first try with them. Hoping this works out.

The e9 stand looks nicer? It’s just more glass right? C9 and e9 same panel and cpu

I think I am going forward with the C9 77 purchase now rather than wait until BF.. don’t think prices can Significantly get any better than what we have been seeing.. Some questions for guidance to all the forum experts here before I make the purchase:

These are the two vendors I am considering purchasing from - the model number ending in **PUA through Rakuten (sold by iElectrica), and the other via Greentoe which shows a **PUB model

- what are the differences if any, between PUA vs PUB models?

LG OLED77C9PUA https://www.rakuten.com/shop/ielectr...uct/ukx4riwqp/

vs LG OLEDC9PUB
https://www.greentoe.com/product/LG_...0000004uSdAIAU

Are these exact models, or does the PUA and PUB at the end mean something?

Many thanks in advance AVS friends.

If I recall correctly those last numbers are the vendor pool ID. In other words, it has nothing to do with the TV. It's the exact same model, but helps them identify where are particular set was supposed to come from.

The A or B at the end mean retailer channel.. Where it could be Best Buy, Costco, Amazon, etc... exclusive or whatever. TV is the same...

Costco Wholesale has 55" LG OLED55B9PUA 4K UHD OLED TV + $100 Costco Shop Card + 3-Year SquareTrade Warranty on sale for $1199.99.

Delivery is free (via Threshold Delivery; provides placement inside your front door, garage or first dry area in unopened box).

Basically this is like getting it for $1000 since you get the ST($99 value) and a $100 Costco GC. This is about as good as it gets at a big box store like Costco. Deal is good through 12/2 online or in store.

I think there is a small difference other than retail channel. My recollection is that one version is WiSA-ready and the other is not.

I'm not sure which is which, though.

That is possible but don't know as I had to look up WiSA to even find out what it means . Sometimes it is a slightly different remote. But the TV itself is basically the same in operation.

Many thanks in advance AVS friends.

The PUB is not listed on LG's web page. I vaguely remember seeing the PUB listed earlier this year. Wonder if it was discontinued or is no longer a USA model.

I do know the AUA from Costco does not have WISA and this was confirmed with an email to LG. I still want to plug in a dongle and see if it would work though.

The same add-ons apply to the 65" version of the B9 as well. Price is $1799 and you get the $100 Costco GC and the 3 year square trade for free.

Those are very good deals.
The Costco deal killer for me living in Washington, is our 10% sales tax, especially when looking for a 77"

I ordered the C9 55 online with no tax and free white glove shipping for $1,399. The seller also had the same unit available for $1,099, but he said those units were 8-bit panels that are made in Asia that would not have the 1 year warranty. He said any online seller willing to sell this unit below $1,399 was selling the 8-bit Asian panel, but that all the big box/Amazon/Costco sellers would be $1,499 on or before BF for the 10-bit panel.

I'm hoping to find an LG C9 for under $1900 on BF, hopefully from a reputable dealer. Got my fingers (and toes) crossed. Was already able to buy my AVR and UHD player wholesale. I'm 2/3 of the way into the 4K/HDR world! Woot!

A place called ABCTVs.com has it right now for $1679 (with a free wall mount!), but I don't know if they're legit or not. Anybody heard of them?

Going for the 65"? I've been struck by the virus too. I would love to buy the 77", but with fast changing technology and the overall lack of 4K material, I don't want to spend that kind of money now. Maybe in 5 years or so, so I'm looking at staying with the 65", same as my Panny plasma.

Yeah. 65" is the sweet spot for my living room. Not doing anything with the RiverRat Theater until laser 4K projectors come down in price. Like, waaaay down.
