Rakuten and Google Shopping are both kinda weird trying to get the codes put in and discounts showing. You always have to sign in and sometimes payment info has to be added if you never purchase there before. Also on GS they auto apply one code and you have to enter the other one. Usually the 2nd one listed is the one you have to enter, Rakuten has a good deal on last years 65E8 with code BF20 I think it reduces to $1718 and maybe I will post it in the proper thread

If the website links directly to the review site, that's usually a red flag. Those type of sites and fake reviews can be spun up in a day. Never trust a single source of reference, especially with thousands of dollars.

Good luck and happy holidays!

So it's over? Sold out? Dang, I was going to pull the trigger on it tomorrow. Been out all day today and didn't have a chance. I got frustrated last night not being able to find the second code entry. Didn't want to put in my credit card info for fear I'd end up buying it without that second discount.

I'm suspicious of anything on eBay. Besides, still $100 too high. Will probably wait and see if there are any other $1600 offers (that's my target point) on Cyber Monday. If not, then will just have to take whatever the best deal is I can find.

Early bird gets the worm!

I've got to get it one way or the other next week. Hopefully, there will another similar deal somewhere. If it pops up on Google Shopping again at least I'll know what to do next time. I've already bought all the other keys in the chain; only the TV is left. 'The Expanse' S-4 drops on Friday the 13th & I've got to be 4K ready by then.

Many here will attest to the legitimacy of Firstclasstv. They are just a middleman. You'll get a fully warrantied TV from LG.

Greentoe Price (65” E9)

What would be a fair price to offer on Greentoe for a 65” E9?

Does my offer include shipping and tax?

Thanks,
John

Shipping is free.

Not authorized seller but plenty of positive stories/reviews.

Edit: I thought this was C9, not a deal for B9 IMO

B&H is a top tier seller, not familiar with Pro AV Dealer, but definitely steer clear of ABCTVS and TV BAR (scam sites)

I dunno. That deal from Google Shopping cited above was a "super low price deal". And if I had only known you couldn't get the second discount applied until you entered your CC info, my search would be over and I'd be waiting on my 65" C9 to be delivered. Wish someone had mentioned that.

My hope is Cyber Monday tomorrow may bring another one just like it out of the woodwork. Fingers crossed...

You have to put all the cc info in first..then you will be able to apply extra 198.. then it will show final price..then you submit.

I told you that yesterday..

Any deals at all on the 77" LG C9 OLED? the 65" is a hell of a deal...but I really have my heart set on 77". Just can't justify paying well over 2x for it! I guess other option is wait for CES and decent competition. Right now the C9 appears to be the only large TV that checks all the HDMI boxes (ALLM, g-sync, Dolby Vision, eARC, Airplay2, Variable refresh, etc). I had to rule out Samsung and Sony unfortunately because they don't seem nearly as future proof....

Unfortunately, by the time I found out how to get that second discount, it was sold out. Don't know how many they had at that price, but it couldn't have been that many. Tomorrow is CM, though! Hope springs eternal.

Yes, after they were sold out which happened very quickly. I could not get clarification until it was too late. As I said above, I was not going to enter CC info without seeing a final price but it would not apply the second $200 discount until you entered your CC info. Nobody mentioned that until it was too late. I've literally never seen something like that before and the site itself did not mention it either. And it may end up costing me $200 because of it.

Best deal I have seen so far today is still $1800. That is via NewEgg, from a seller called "Gameliquidations". A poster above mentioned they were not an authorized seller. And it is still $200 higher than the BuyDig deal. And everything else I've seen is one or two hundred higher than that.

So the wait continues...

This deal that Brother Aliens referenced is still available through ebay, and I might do it. Doesn't look like Cyber Monday is going to yield anything better.

Only a hundred bucks more than the "super" deal I missed above. They are not an "authorized dealer". But what does that even mean? What will I not get from them that I would get from an authorized dealer? I mean, if the LG warranty is the same, then what is the difference?

You'll have to go through the posts to see who the authorized dealers are that Firstclasstv deals with. I don't recall seeing any posts that they deal with anyone who isn't legit. Try searching Firstclasstv and see what you come up with. I'd buy one from them today but I'm about $400 short. It'll take me until March to come up with the money, which should be about the time they start lowering the 2019s in preparation for the 2020s.

I believe the greentoe.com still has an authorized seller at $1799+tax for the 65" C9

Has anyone recently ordered an LG C9 through Greentoe? I received an offer for $1799 and decided to go for it. I entered payment info on Friday and when I clicked on the button to reveal the reseller, it just said 'Amazon Marketplace Seller'. I emailed them and they told me who the real dealer is. It still hasn't shipped however and there's really nothing on the Greentoe site that reveals anything besides 'pending shipment'. Anyone have any experience with ordering from them recently? I'm not supposed to reveal who the reseller is, but I'm curious to know other people's experiences with this particular reseller and how long they took to ship, how the delivery experience was etc..
