Thanks for the heads up about Microcenter. My local store in Tustin, CA had two open box 65E9's, one I picked up today for $1499 and another one still remaining at $1799. The open box I picked up had 6 hours of runtime but no stand. I believe the remaining one has a stand but I have no idea how many hours. If someone is local to Orange Country it might be worth a look. Cheers!

whats the cheapest the B9 or C9 has been recently?

my old Sammy F8500 just died on me and I need a new tv

I haven't checked the prices of these tvs since I got the E8 over a year ago so I don't know whats considered a good deal right

I got my E8 for $1199 so im definitely not paying more than that for a B9 or C9

I thought the prices would get cheaper with each passing year but it looks like B9 is $1299 everywhere and the C9 is $1499

aren't these supposed to be dirt cheap with the new models just releasing?

Are you listing prices for the 55”? I’m looking for a 65”.

ISF Calibrator
Samsung PN64F8500, Denon AVR-S910.
Pioneer Kuro Elite Pro-111FD, Denon AVR-X2400H, Palliser Flicks lOlOOlOl Dax material.
Displays are like 100% cotton t-shirts. Always buy a size larger than you think you'll need, as they tend to shrink over time.

Saw a Satisfactory Open Box 65 C9 on Best Buy for about $1,300 on a location about 100 miles from my place. The drive is not ideal of course, but should I take the lucrative tag and dive in? What are the risks?

I've been eyeing a 65 C9 for 7+ months now as my dream TV upgrade (still have not even jumped on the 4k wagon lol), missed authorized dealer deal(s), which were extremely minimal in numbers, but otherwise planning to buy one within a month or as soon as price drops less than $1900. I know different people weigh risks differently, but what am I risking in getting a Satisfactory Best Buy tv? Do they have full LG warranty?

What I care most about is performance longevity of the TV. Yes! I'm that person who buys a TV every 5-10 years lol. I'm aware of the burn-in issues with OLED and will be extra careful handling it, but a bit more worried about that now that I'm getting a used one. Appreciate your inputs!

EDIT: Is Best Buy running a Gift Card promotion? A few people noted GC's here, but I don't see anything on the website now

With that kind of drive you are risking getting a floor model with burn in (like I got) and having to make the trek right back.

Call them and see what comes with it. My 65" didn't have the box or remote and had a small nick in the screen and burn in.

What are your thoughts on a refurb? Does Squaretrade or anyone else offer extended warranties on refurbs?

I'll give them a call tomorrow. Thank you for the heads up!

Do you know if they offer full LG warranty on those?

Didn't try to register mine through LG but they might. I've heard conflicting stories on if the receipt says open box whether they honor it or not. My email said open box condition good on it.

Ok I called and you're absolutely right! It's for the floor unit. No box, remote, stand, and documentation. She says no burn-in. Now I can take the risk knowing that I can return it within 15 days if there's burn-in. However, I'm worried these issues don't surface until after that period and/or I end up with a tv that has a much shorter life span/expectancy that I'd like to have on a big purchase.

Appreciate your thoughts everyone!

If that's Microcenter, I think the warranty is only 90 days. Plus, I think that's the AUA version without the WiSa wireless speaker capability, although you might not have use for that. Otherwise, it's a good price if it looks and works like new. I'm sure you can return it if not. The warranty is a problem though, and I don't think most extended warranties cover refurbs.

I've heard people being able to register their refurb from micro center with LG for one year warranty.

That would be great, and the credit card used might provide another year (if it covers refurbs).

Starting to shop for a deal on the 77".

How do you figure out the value of my OLED E6 to sell. I know it was the last year of the 3D TV's maybe that makes it desirable. It has 7,706 hours on it.

TIA, Mike

Been in the market for a 65C9 recently and haven't had any offers on Greentoe less than $1949+tax. I thought it would be a little lower than that with the CX around now. People in the 2020 thread are reporting 65CX offers which are only $500 higher.

I'm in the same boat. I think that the Greentoe price includes tax though. That would put it around $1830 +tax. Not too shabby

Mine explicitly states it's $1,949+tax so the total offer is $2,078 unfortunately.

I reserved a refurb 55” C9 from microcenter for $999

Will pick it up later today or tomorrow

I read in the slickdeals thread that they’re factory refurbs from LG and you can still register them and get the year warranty
