Gus told Molly when they first met he had wanted to be a mailman, not a cop. I just took it as the love of a good woman inspired him to pursue his dream.

I've woken up and wondered why I can't hear the TV.

Then I realize it's because I'm on the neighbor's back lawn - and it's his TV I'm seeing...he should really get some curtains.

OK, so that's not true, but if you add the loss of pants and the sudden appearance of some sort of wild animal tattoo (along with the live wild animal it portrays), it makes for an awesome drunk story. The only topper to that is a female voice from the hedges saying "I found your pants, but I have no clue where mine are..."

How does this relate to Fargo?

You start with an innocent drinking game where you take a shot every time someone says, "oh, yah"...

...and just like that, we're back on topic.... wink.gif

A cop being choked to death that has a gun ride at his side doesn't make any sense. With that being said, this episode was better than the previous 2, its been getting a little slow for my liking. I loved all the 1 year later stuff in the story.

RIP John, my best friend. Oct 17th 1966 - Nov 13th 2010

RIP Victor, my dad, June 26th 1927 - April 13th 2011

Terrific stuff.
I'll say it again: Fargo is better than True Detective.

"Salesman of the Year" and suddenly he thinks he is macho enough to look a serial killer in the eye?
Oh, Lester....things are going to go South for ya in a hurry.rolleyes.gif

The elevator scene was shockingly great.
"Is this what you want, Lester?"cool.gif

What a hoot with Sheriff Bill apologizing to the FBI agents.

I thought for sure Malvo in the diner with Dad was going to end with blood on the floor.

Chicken***** Lester sending in his wife.....who is the REAL monster here?
Malvo or Lester????????

Is next week the concluding episode?

Season Finale 90 min episode next week.

Can't believe Lester sent his wife in there. But we knew he had no balls anyway. of course he was right about his hunch.

Malvo is still a monster, no doubt about that!

Malvo the dentist. Classic. biggrin.gif

Loved the story about Malvo injecting himself three times instead of the patient. That was taken from the Carol Burnett show where Harvey Korman was in the chair and Tim Conway, the dentist, kept injecting himself.

Lester. Lester. Lester. You lowlife chickensh*t! I only wish it were Malvo who would do him in.

One of the best episodes, yet! Should be a great finale.

Almost speechless after last night's show. Malo is a cold blooded monster but Lester is going to burn in hell after setting his wife up to be murdered in his place. Such a sweet, naive lady. Too good for the likes of pond scum like Lester. The shootings in the elevator were gruesome and so dispassionate but that's Malvo style. I can't wait to see Lorne and Lester's demise if that's what happens next week.

He also had the wife go in the house first when they got back from Vegas and took his time going in before he was sure coast was clear. Did Malvo set up Lester? He just calmly walked away, which is his style, but I wonder if he left evidence to implicate Lester. Having two wives murdered does not look good.

Malvo setting up Lester was my thought as well. Given what previously transpired, I don't think he has interest in simply killing Lester.

That was incredibly despicable of Lester, especially when his wife was a perfect person in every way. I say Mr. Wrench needs to show up and put him and Malvo through the wood chipper!

It's probably because of their excellent show on Comedy Central, but I can't help but always find Key & Peele amusing even when their characters are in a serious position.

The episode went against expectations a couple of times by not having Molly's dad get killed and by not having Malvo crash into Lester's car towards the end. That car method is so done to death that I expect it on every show now.

The small talk between Lester and his wife was funny when she brought up the situation of a guy leaving a BM between the mattress and the box spring. I'm sure there are sickos in real life who have done that.

Agree with everyone else that little bitch Lester needs to go down, and go down haawd! Kudos to Martin Freeman for making him such a despicable little weasel.

So, what exactly was Malvo doing with the whole dentist-impersonator thing? Was he fulfilling a contract killing on his partner? If so, why the months-long deception; why not just pull the trigger right away and get it over with? Maybe he secretly harbored a desire to be a dentist instead of a contract killer? Or was he just doing it for "fun" - to make the job more interesting for him?

And killing that young babe who was so into him - geez, I'm tellin' ya' - what guy does that?
