We don't know the name of the Girl. Will it eventually be revealed that she is one of the Twin Peaks characters in the original show?

She was probably about 16 years old in 1956. She would be about 50 in 1990.

Makes sense, but then again it "makes sense" so probably not.

Big fan of the original Twin Peaks.

This version not so much. After hour 4, I bailed out.

Too much other good content to watch.

Twin Peaks Return? A total waste of brain cells.

I can appreciate what David Lynch is trying to do moving beyond the town of Twin Peaks but it has lost some of the charm of the original series...I think in the past 25 years lots of shows have tried to emulate the quirkiness of the original series so doing that again would not have been satisfying to Lynch...even so I'm hoping that the real Dale Cooper returns soon and hangs out in Twin Peaks for 8-9 episodes

Nothing on my end either. Looked like they were replaying the original series.

No new episode. For some reason they skipped a week.

Showtime scheduled the "Snowden" movie for that time slot. I watched it. And the next episode of "I'm Dying Up Here" was available on Friday streaming.

I watched the last 2 episodes...I'm growing a bit restless as far as this Dougie story...10 episodes in and there doesn't look to be any end to it...are we really going to have all 16 episodes deal with this?...no real-Cooper and Twin Peaks as the focal point until the very end?...I'll wait until all 16 episodes to air before making up my mind on this new season but I really wish he would move this Dougie story along faster

18 episodes, actually. Still a ways to go.

Kyle MacLachlan says it will all make sense by the end of the final episode.

I'm really enjoying sitting back and taking it all in, even when I'm not sure what it all means.

Seems like a pretty minor character, unless she appears again.

Sure, a minor character, but she gave a performance that I won't soon forget. This iteration of the show is loaded with these seemingly small but spectacular performances and it's one of the reasons I'm enjoying it so much.

Good advice for any Lynch endeavor and probably mandatory for what amounts to a 16 hour Lynch movie.

this season is frustrating in many ways but it's also very good in other ways...definitely not as groundbreaking as the original series...it was great seeing Audrey Horne return this week...I also enjoyed the scene with Gordon and that French woman...after Albert came into the room and wanted to speak to him privately it took her like 15 minutes to leave as she was getting all dolled up lol...

I'm pretty sure I have figured out exactly how the 1st 20 mins of the next episode will play out:

You like Tea?
Sure, I Guess so.
Would you like some Tea?
Tea, you say?
Yes. Tea. Do you want Hot Tea?
Yes, Hot Tea. Do you have Sugar?
Yes, and Sweet & Low too.
I don't like Sweet & Low.
You Only Like Sugar?
Yes.
No other sweeteners for you?
No. Just Sugar.
So, Do you want a cup of Tea?
Sure, I'll have a cup of Tea.
How do you take it.
With Sugar.
Just Sugar?
Yes, just sugar.
Just sugar, how many sugars?
Two Sugars.
A Tea with two sugars, and of course no Sweet & Low.
Thats correct.
OK Let me go get you a hot Tea with two sugars, OK?
OK, Thank You.
Oh it's no problem. I have plenty of Tea and sugar
OK.
I'll be right back with your Tea.
OK.
With 2 sugars.
OK.

I'm at the point where I want this to end...I can appreciate some elements and there have been some standout moments and episodes but overall it's tedious...the Lynch staple of long takes where nothing much seems to happen is good in small doses but not every week...this week's scene with Sarah watching that boxing match in a loop was irritating...I'm going to stick this out till the end but my overall impression up to this point is slight disappointment...it's like Lynch is purposely not giving fans what they want to see- the real Dale Cooper and more of the town of Twin Peaks

I do hear that next week's episode is outstanding...apparently Episode 14 aired yesterday in Germany instead of Episode 13 and spoilers are out there...I hate spoilers so I haven't read any but people are claiming it's a fantastic episode
