So Strand and Madison went from drunk revelers to stone sober zombie killers pretty much instantly. I guess that's why they didn't run those two episodes back to back. They were hoping people would forget exactly how drunk they were.

I'm not certain whether to suspend belief or disbelief. Either way it's the nature of the beast.

Madison wins the dumbest person in the Zombie apocalypse award. Perhaps ever... Here, I'm going to light up the hotel with the generator at night because only Nick will see it. Everyone else will ignore it and carry on.

Seriously, that should have earned her the death penalty from anyone who depended on the stealth factor of that hotel. Unforgivable.

I do not think Nick cares. He has found his place and has a hottie girlfriend to boot. Why go hang with mom when he can stay put?

I've paid for my sins. We're even!

Especially considering her conduct at the market. After living in LA and working in LA public school districts, she didn't have any better sense than to interrupt an armed gang and create a spectacle when they are questioning someone? That scene drove me just as nuts. Pure idiocy.

I'm pretty sure what I wrote is standard "what not to do in LA when there is a gang about" advice. No zombie apocalypse needed. LOL

I'm just teetering on the edge of bailout time .. I suppose I'll finish this season, however, the Madison idiocy is just getting to be too much to take ..

Kirkman, I thought you were better than this ..

If anything, I should start a petition to "Bring Back the Abigale" ..

And of course he'll know it is Madison signalling. Of the 7 billion people on earth when the zombie apocalypse breaks out not one other person would be dumb enough to turn on the lights like that.

"Chris, we have to go. I saw a hotel with its lights on for a minute. It's Madison."

"Uh... What?!?!?"

I enjoyed last night's episode. As the father of a young man, I felt for Travis's situation with his son.

Next week is the finale eh? I notice that Hardwick said "two special guests" next week. You know what that means. Any predictions?

But there is a crowd trying to get in ..

I also found that a bit much. Ole Travis should have sussed out the situation and hung back until the crowd dispersed and then quietly returned. That is what an intelligent semi with it human would do. I hit the FF during all Travis's angst scenes with his wife regarding his son. The son clearly didn't need the father figure directing his life anymore and wanted to move on, regardless of the quality of the friends he was keeping.

This episode was actually trying to be interesting. Although not sure I care at this point. 2 hour season finale next week. Maybe Chris makes it across the border and finds his way to the east coast and becomes Negans apprentice.

Edit: Now that I think about it, Chris needs to go. He falls into an abandoned tequila vat where they stuck the most interesting man in the world who now has turned and slowly munches on Chris. Because his 2 cents is worth 20.
