I was wondering that, too. At the very least, if someone was strangling me like that and I knew I was going to die, I'm make sure to dig my fingernails into their skin to make certain there was DNA evidence to find.

This is very important, because with just his DNA from kissing her, he could claim they were having an affair and that her husband found out and killed her out of jealousy. I wonder if his hand prints around her neck are enough to tie him to the murder?

I think Tyrell told the CTO's wife that the cameras to the stairs had been out for months. Also, he wiped his DNA from her face after killing her. IRL he would have probably left some kind of DNA behind, but I am pretty sure he is going to walk away from this. Especially, if he saves E-Corp with the encryption key. We already discussed that here. But look again at the sign over the former computer store and then at B of A's logo. It's another piece of satire. Basically they replaced B of A's flag and "America" with the leaning E.

They had to play the Pixies' "Where Is My Mind?" on piano to finalize the Fight Club connection? A little tacky.

Was Best Buy around in 1994?

Best Buy was for sure around, they debuted on the NYSE 1987, it's name was changed in 1987 to Best Buy from Sound of Music.

I disagree about the Pixies' song use. I thought it was perfect as this show has had little nods to the era throughout it. Tacky would have been if they used it while they watched the hack happen, even then it wouldn't bother me, because I like the song.

They've used so many tributes to different shows and eras that I now view them as their way of paying homage to their favorite movie and musical influences.

Since we are seeing this through Elliot's eyes it doesn't surprise me. That time period heavily influenced his future self.

Makes a lot of sense ..... all the influences he had as a child, experiencing his Dad's cultural influences ........ all of that now pops back up in his mind as scenes are playing out. In the earlier train scene I mentioned that totally referenced Risky Business, Elliot could have been flashing back in his mind to the movie scene that he experienced watching with his Dad. I'm now seeing how different modern day real events get played out in his head as a mix of reality, as well as his "visions" that include prior influences.

BTW, I watched Spike Lee's "Da Sweet Blood of Jesus" on Netflix last night and Rami Malek is in the film. It's kind of a quirky dark comedy.

So do they want us to watch the credits or is there a scene after the credits like they do in the movies. If it is the credits, maybe it a character played by Edward Norton in disguise.

Watch the credits for a post credits scene I'm guessing ala Marvel movies. They didn't say exactly where.

Well then I hope they don't put the credits into a small box while promoting something else like they usually do.

I don't think you can "wipe DNA off". You'd need to wash it off. With bleach. He strangled her with his bare hands. Also raped her, didn't he? His DNA would've been all over.

He could try to argue all this away in court, but he should be under arrest pretty quickly.

He definitely didn't rape her. IRL he would have probably left something behind, but in TV/Movie logic wiping her face cleans it up. Guarantee he is not going to do any time for this murder. E-Corp has powerful friends and once he saves them, this will disappear.

Mr Robot finale postponed due to real life shooting.

http://www.avclub.com/article/mr-rob...illings-224468

“The previously filmed season finale of Mr. Robot contains a graphic scene similar in nature to today’s tragic events in Virginia. Out of respect to the victims, their families and colleagues, and our viewers, we are postponing tonight’s episode."

They'll air it next Wed.

Wow.

I am not an insensitive person, but this was the death of 2 people and not some Sandyhook, Dark Knight Theater or 9/11 massacre.
This is a little to PC. How about instead, just a disclaimer at the start and coming back from every commercial like:
This show contents graphic images similar in context to the on air killings of 2 news reporters earlier today. Viewer discretion is advised.

I agree, yet they are showing Law & Order:SVU right now and for the next several hours, why is Mr. Robot not ok, but SVU is ok, it can get pretty graphic and violent.

We don't know the scene in question. Personally I don't have an issue with what they did. Once we see the episode we may have a better idea of why they did it.

I agree, and as far as I can tell, the show does not air anywhere else other than the US so we shouldn't have to worry about stumbling across any online spoilers.

WTH?!?!

I really don't understand that. If showing it really caused an issue with victims, families etc, then they would never show it at all. I don't see what delaying it a week does? Shootings happen every day.

Not many happen on live TV and to people in the industry however. Not sure why people are getting upset over this. Wait until the episode airs then see if it made sense.

Keep in mind USA may make some edits in the meantime so who knows.

Fwiw Andy Greenwald saw the finale and agrees with the decision. Any network will err on the side of caution in these situations. You can call it PC. I think it's just good manners.

I thought that was indeed what it said at the beginning, but then they ran last week's episode. Had me confused. It was after the first commercial that there was text indicating that the season finale would be aired next Wednesday. Of course, I could have misread it.

Rami Malik is "acting" in a new video game called Until Dawn. It's basically a mashup of all the teen slasher movies where you get to choose the actions of the characters. It's been getting a lot of good buzz.
