Luci had his Olympics hiatus and now he's going back on a 3 week hiatus? Same with Lethal Weapon. Riggs and Murtaugh have been on a hiatus for a couple weeks now. They must really like their hiatuses over at Fox.

I agree. I'm hoping something interesting will come out of Cain trying to use the detective to get what he wants. Also, I think it may be interesting to see what happens with the whole Charlotte thing.

This latest episode started out good with some quality innuendos, "you have DNA on your shirt." But then quickly dissolved. The lame love triangle has to go. Pierce is a good guy now and the mark is gone. BAM! He gets hit by a bus. Moving on.

Because he learned true love and made sacrifice. He learned and finally refused to hurt someone by sacrificing his happiness/love and did it solely so he would not hurt someone. I guess that is redemption enough in eyes of God.

I wonder what Lesley-Ann Brandt was up to during the filming of this season as it doesn't seem like she's been around much. I do hope they're not phasing her out.

It appears she was pregnant during some of the season's filming period.

IMO--I would like to see the series get back to it's "roots". It seems like Lucifer is just running around being a jealous spurned lover now. Why not have him be like he was in the first season? By that, I mean being a real cold-hearted, misogamist, hedonistic, truly evil being. That is when I really liked this show. Now--I find it just barely average.

For me getting back to its root is the same as repeats... been there done that. If the characters and story arc aren't moving forward there isn't any reason to stay invested. This is my biggest complaint about TV series... in most cases after a season (or two) every episode appears to be pointless as it offers nothing new. You are basically seeing the same characters you saw in previous seasons. This is why I loved The Good Wife where if you put Alicia from season x into season y she would never fit... as she wouldn't be the same person.

Sure some series get worse moving on but that simply means they told their story and there is nothing left.

CRAP! Fox should be sent to Hell, since they've canceled the show.

Yep, and yet the CSI: Omaha's, dancing with animals and every cop procedural keep on going. It's a dark day in tv land.

I heard today that the show's been cancelled and I'd feel bad about that if I hadn't given up on it weeks ago. It's a shame that a show with such an interesting premise and such promise only managed two good seasons before jumping the shark. Oh, well, back to Hell.

They cancel Lucifer, but they bring on another Ramsay cooking show.

Lucifer is a good show and shouldn't be cancelled. The only thing "wrong" with it is Tom Welling. The episodes that revolved around his character just dragged along.
If anything he is what caused the ratings drop.

I won't miss what the show had become, centering on hurt feelings and jealousy and all sorts of relationship drama. And I'm sorry, but the addition of the wooden and laconic Tom Welling to the cast was a huge drag. The dopey crime lab tech didn't help either. Bye bye.

When did Lucifer find out why Chloe can make not immortal, i.e. that bullets can hurt him and knives can cut him? (Which Series and Episode number)

Thank you.

So Amenadiel got his wings back and took Charolette's soul to heaven. Man, I hope Fox gives this a proper send off and answers all questions and wraps up all story lines.

C-ya around, Luci. Well, hopefully not.

Amenadiel always "had" his wings. He just needed to believe he was worthy of them again.

If this is truly ending, then Lucifer should drag Pierce into the fires of Hell.

I suspect it will end on a cliffhanger as the season was already done filming before the cancellation was announced.

It was one of the few network shows I bothered to watch. Bummer that they canceled it.

Yes, and it left a place for another network to pickup from.

Good episode if it was the season finale. This is the last we've seen of these characters. No other network is picking this up. Thanks for the closure Fox...NOT!

I'm fine with the ending. I never understand the need for wrapping things up as it would only represent one moment in time. I'd like to believe the characters continue to live on...

Yep, Fox can go to Hell. Of course, they aren't the only network: NBC (Timeless) and SyFy (The Expanse), just to name a couple. Chloe finally finds out that Lucifer really is the devil and Lucifer doesn't know why she knows. A great setup for the next season, that we won't get to see.

There are 2 standalone episodes they were saving for next season, also Tom Ellis said there are talks underway about a new home for the show, but don't expect an extremely fast renewal like Brooklyn 99.

Lucifer has three possible new homes IMHO: The CW, SYFY, Netflix.

If any of the other big three pick it up they will hack it apart.

Interesting. I did not know that. Checked out the Wiki Lucifer entry. Sure enough. We may still get to see them on Fox.
