I'm wondering what the solution will be to leave Angelville? I also noticed for the first time for myself that two of the main characters have their names credited elsewhere in the show, and not as stars of it. getting into the production side now.

I’m getting tired of this season honestly. This backwards hick house has lost all interest for me. They need to move on. Herr Star and Cassidy are always fun. But this backwoods basement fight club isn’t doing it for me.

Was about ready to bail on this show but the coming attractions look promising for interesting developments.

Fantastic episode. Starr coming face to face with the Allfather was brilliant. "Your head looks like a giant penis, Herr Starr." He's the only one to make Starr squirm. The horse eating and vomiting was nasty. But it's only wafer thin. Lol.

What can I say? T.C. Petting zoo. Goat. Pixelated privates. TV gold.

I can't remember what happened to Starr's head. I would say it was an injury from the shootout in L'Angelville, but it looks very surgical.

So I guess T.C. got the lizard off of his pee pee?

Lol. The Tom/Brady. Brilliant!

And who would have thunk an endless supply of Humperdoos? Not Jesse.

"What did you expect was going to happen?"
"A woman scientist. I didn't believe it was possible."

Things are coming to a boil. Only two episodes left.

Holy crap!!! Preacher just continues to be SO hysterically anarchistic, so completely demented, that it leaves my head spinning every week, and the multiple "I-can't-believe-what-I-just-watched" scenes make repeat viewings a practical requirement. Anyone out there know if the comic books were ever like this? On second though, who cares? Because there really haven't ever been many TV series like this! It's been plainly obvious from the very beginning that this is definitely not a series for anyone who doesn't have a liberal sense of the absurd. For the past few episodes the pope-like "Allfather"--like a "Jabba the Hut" character straight out of Monty Python--has managed to steal the show away from characters like Herr Starr and Hitler--or at least all those prosthetics have. And last night, the storyline went so graphically "full goose bozo" with all the exploding "test subjects" that they may need to create a new technical category at the Emmy Awards for gross-out special effects. I'll say this for AMC...it took a lot of guts to produce this series...literally.

This week's episode proves once again how much better the show is when they are not all stuck in L'Angelville.

I read the first two volumes of the comics last year and the L'Angelville stuff lasted only a couple of issues--a small fraction of one volume. But then again, the entire first season served as a prologue and expansion of the setup covered in just the first issue the comics.

It's safe to say the show is only loosely based on the comics. There are actually a lot of things in the comics that could never make it on American TV. They're just way way too graphic. I do like how the show is adapting and expanding certain aspects of the comics, including Herr Star and the Allfather.

"Then he shall know my buttocks as few men ever have." Rest In Pieces, Allfather.

I did not expect the Allfather going out like that. Nor did I expect Jesse to get his soul back like that either. Lol.

This show is completely bonkers. I love it. Season finale next week. Batten down the hatches.

The season is definitely wrapping up nicely after getting a big bogged down in L'Angelville. I loved the release of the Humperdoos on the world.

Erinn Ruth as the Angel of Death is smokin'. I hope this season's resolution doesn't end in her demise and we get to see more of her next year.

Spoiler!

Heads up for tonight (August 26) for those who will be recording it. AMC will be starting the season finale 7 minutes late, and it's gonna be "supersized," running 1 hour and 15 minutes.

“It’s time to play some f—ing checkers.”

Fantastic finale. Other shows need to watch Preacher to see how a right proper season finale is done. So much epicness in one episode.

And we're going to need a new Hoover.
Spoiler!

Definitely an eventful season finale. I was a little surprised to see Satan so easily taken out by the Saint of Killers, who survived being run over by and then blown up under a tank (without a scratch or his clothes singed). So I guess he's immortal for some reason but not Satan. At any rate, it's good to see Hitler in his rightful place as ruler of the underworld (and we thought Satan was bad.)

Seeing Hoover go out like that as an 'oh by the way' moment at the very end of the episode was classic Preacher. I can't wait for next season.

I feel it was a textbook example of proper season finale. It hit all the right notes and gave us a hint of what's coming next. Especially liked Bokeem Woodbine's umbrella headpiece, and even more its' removal.

I think his weapons were “special” which is why they were able to kill Satan. He was immortal before as well, but I can’t remember what changed when he got sent to Hell (I think it had to do with getting a partial soul).

They said in the past his guns/bullets are special and can kill anything and he is immortal.

This show is so off the rails nuts I love it. Speaking of nuts, poor Cassidy. And Herr Starr has a new look. Lol. Great to have it back. This final season looks like it will be bananas. And bananas are good.
