I knew he wasn't human but didn't put 2 and 2 together that he's a vampire. Agree, he looks like a fun character. A couple questions. He seemed to change and go into kill mode after finding the bible in the plane's restroom. What happened there? Also, were those guys vampire hunters? They sure had all the weapons. I need to get me a wee dram of the Jameson.

Just watched the show again. I don't know about the bible. I suspect he made his own discovery about their identity with the book. Maybe it will make more sense later. I don't think he changed, just his realization of their intentions made him attack first.
Vampire hunters is what I would call them. I like how they had all their weapons hidden about the plane.

Enjoyed this enough to keep on watching. Good enough setup to wet my appetite and leave me wanting more.

Sort of in the middle here. Weird crap that might be compelling. No real backstory yet. I'll give it some time to see if it comes together or is just weird for the sake of being weird.

As a Fear the Walking Dead dropout I was expecting another dud, but was pleasantly surprised. I really enjoyed it and the end reveal shows there's a lot more action to come.

I was entertained. I have no exposure to the graphic novel so I'm going in with eyes wide open. Lots to enjoy and laugh about. Not sure I loved some of the gore ("Open your heart") but otherwise found the show very watchable.

That was great. I remember reading awhile back they were worried they'd be hearing from the Scientology lawyers over that. But nothing came of it.

Wow, one of the most interesting and wild series beginnings I have ever seen. The opening scene in space, rocketing to earth, mayhem on the plane, the scene in the cornfield. And thats only as far as I have gotten yet. half hour to go. Im digging the creativity.

Almost everyone takes the holiday off. Also, they are doing Preacher>FTWD>TWD I believe so it fits into release dates. Push a week and everything pushes at least a week.

2 of the best shows currently on TV are airing new episodes this Sunday- Game of Thrones and Penny Dreadful...if AMC wanted to keep their schedule intact they could have always shown Preacher as a 2 hour premiere...taking a week off after only airing 1 episode just seems silly...the only 3 holidays that deserve a week off are Christmas, New Years Day and Thanksgiving

That's why I said "almost" this comes up almost every time a show takes a holiday weekend break.

I really liked the intro. I don't know why. It was mixed with that 50s style scifi effect plus current. Totally at odds with the rest of the show.

Anyone know the song at the very end of the show, love it.

Good looking out!

Great song. I listened to some of the other tracks on the album, they are all the same. Apparently this guy was part of the Crash Test Dummies, too.

I put off watching my recording of the pilot, not sure if this is something I wanted to get into, but I'm glad I finally checked it out the other night. Definitely worth sticking around for.

Thank god for closed captioning or would've never understood anything the Irish guy was saying.

I thought, someone's been watching a lot of Tarantino movies, especially Grindhouse.

While not as good as the first episode it is still good enough that we are on board for the whole ride.

The battle at the church was great. "Say hello to my little friend." Oh and btw, I like The Big Lebowski too.

So far, the show is a bunch of stuff happening with no context or big picture. It better happen within a couple of eps or I'm out.
