Now that the numbers are even less, Tai's special advantage has a lot more weight to it, being able to cast two votes when there are already so few votes is a lore more powerful then when there are a bunch of people left.

Glad he stayed. Good that Jason's "brilliant" plan didn't work. So glad they shut him down.

Remember that he can only use the extra vote up until the final five -- so he needs to use it on the next tribal vote or he loses it.

I must have spaced out during an episode somewhere - when/how did Tai get the extra vote thing?

Stop looking down at your fone during the show, & come up for air once in a while!

It was the challenge where they could choose which reward to go for:

Food - won by Michele
Letter from Loved One - Julia
Mystery Advantage - Tai

I can't remember if it was ever shown on how each got the Challenge they took .. I would have thought that most all would have gone for the Advantage if given the opportunity ..

Maybe they all felt they were safe enough not to need it, I cant agree with them, an advantage should always be something to go after.

it was 3-3-2, three went for mystery advantage, three went for food, and Joe and Julia went for letter from loved ones.

I could certainly understand going for the food as they are so depleted and that could give them much needed reserves for upcoming immunity challenges. also, it goes to how secure they feel in the game, how big of an advantage they thought it would be, and then gaming theory of what they thought other people would choose. if you thought everyone was choosing advantage and maybe one other food, then go for it!

I guess letter from loved ones could lift spirits too but that is a lesser necessity.

That challenge definitely showed who was feeling comfortable in the game. At this point, Joe is just going through the motions. Maybe Julia chose Letter because only Joe was doing it. Michele is playing a passive game, so food was the safe choice. Obviously Scot and Jason felt like they held all the cards so they went for food. Tai, Cydney and Aubrey are still fighting.

Tonight should be interesting we'll see if they try and pull a blindside on Tai or if they risk letting him get to F4. Jason and Cydney seem like possible boots tonight although Jason may be kept around as a goat. Aubry seems like she is in good position but unsure how her social game stacks up if she gets to the end. Michelle has very little blood on her hands and could win because of that with the right F3. She would be a boring winner in what has been a decent season since the pre merge swap.

I would be willing to bet Tai survives tonight. Next week's episode is titled "With Me or Not With Me" - which sounds like Tai.

The IC challenge was awesome. Tai's advantage, wow, that got wasted. I think they should have gotten rid of Michelle. Mark the chicken, damn thing is a freaking pet now, its really cool.

Send like the best strategy would have been to place the blocks at the outer end to put the most tension on the rope rather than close to the pivot point where most of them put them. But maybe there was something in the instructions that I missed that would prohibit that.

I am assuming Tai had to use his advantage now (was it in the rules he read that it had to be used before the top 5?) What a waste that was. Glad no one listened to him, kind of showed him he is not in charge (even though I want him to win, it is a lesson learned). So he is safe next week because the hidden immunity idol has to be played before the top 4 are left so at least he got into the top 4 but I don't see him making it past that unless he can win the immunity challenge when there are 4.

The problem with placing the blocks on the outer edge is that it would have the most change in vertical distance. If the board changes angle, the middle would not see any difference in height, just angle. The outer edge would see a change in both.

I noticed that they were not placing the blocks on the center line so they might have been prohibited from placing exactly on the pivot point.

I don't think it's yet to the point where either the Advantage or the Idol had to be played .. Tai did not need to use the advantage and it was a huge mistake that he did ..

The Advantage vote can be played until there are only five contestants left, so Tai could have saved it till next week ..

Although Jason can talk, which would give him a fighting chance at Final Tribal, and he likely has Scot's vote, he would still have been a good one to take to Final .. with Kai playing the Advantage, and the only one that voted for Michele, he has now shown his Alliance that he clearly wants to be calling the shots .. if your Alliance wants to all go one way, and you go another, it's not good game play .. worry about Michele later, keep your Advantage for now .. I was disappointed that Tai's Kung Fu let him down on this one .. it really lessened his odds of making it to Final Tribal ..

Why did Jason vote for Joe? Tai told him he was voting for Michelle. What did Jason have to lose by voting for Michelle. He knew it was either him or Michelle. In the end it didn't make difference but it could have and he didn't have much of any other chance.

But it is the angle that causes it to tip over, not the height.

Because he didn't like him, it was a pure emotional vote, his caveman douche bully mentality.

Both Tai and Aubry identified her as being a threat yet they went with Cydney ( 4th person in the alliance) ,so I'm totally confused by Aubry's vote in that case. Tai has been a mess lately, and he could have maybe handled the Michelle vote better, but I'm not sure if that would have mattered with Cydney. It would have been better on the whole to keep Jason around as a big goat, regardless of how hard it was living with him. Michelle certainly can win as she has no blood on her hands, while Tai and Aubry have been very visible in the vote offs.

Tai believed he had Aubrey's (felt betrayed in next week's preview) and Jason's vote so it wasn't a bad play. More foolish were his Tribal Council comments. I don't think he is as big of a threat to win it all as most here do.

Is it a Final 2 this year? 6 people in jury now, right? So they may want 3 more.
