I was kinda okay when this ended, but I'm really excited to watch it again. And excited for it to be off ABC and on Netflix. I did think the tagline of "Netflix Original" was a little funny, though.

I dropped it about halfway into Season 2, just got bored with it ..

I think I'll finish out Season 2 and try Season 3 just to see if things got better ..

I dropped out 1/3 way through season 2, and I have no desire to catch up on the ABC On Demand episodes. However I will check out the new Netflix offering to see if it passes the smell test.

No need to go to ABC. Netflix has all episodes of the first two seasons available to watch. All forty three episodes can be streamed on Netflix.

Thought I'd bump this since Season 3 starts tomorrow on Netflix! Can't wait.

I rewatched the first 2 seasons and now I'm wondering why the show was dropped to begin with. It's not like ABC is stacked with good procedurals/dramas.

After DS, I started rewatching 24 since I haven't done that in a while. I had forgotten how much Kim was a drag on the show. Halfway through season 3.

I like others liked the show but gave up mid season 2. We really liked season 1, but the cheese factor got pretty high so it got abandoned.

Hoping that Netflix can bring some life into it. Always happy to find a decent show. (not many out there)

Thumbs down Season 3

The only thing that Netflix did here is added bad language, the stories are just a WW re imagined with the same bias we see from these political shows the last few years. enjoy NPC's

I just binged the new season and enjoyed watching it on Netflix. I liked the added adult language as it spiced up the show and made it a little more real. I'd be up for another season if it happens.

Lol, I think that's one of the main goals of Netflix. Must have bad language! And for sure have to throw in some sex scenes even if they have nothing to do with the plot.

Pure plot can be boring, you need some side story to know what is going on outside of that plot.

I must live in another world. I don't hear the "adult language" in real life. Only on non-OTA tv now.

Otherwise, the show was pretty good. Except for Maggie Q fate.

I enjoyed season 3 and it looks like they left enough cliffhangers to start the next season (I'm being positive here). Some quick thoughts.

There were clearly some budget cuts. For example, the Sit Room was barely to be found. I assume that the graphics for the big monitors were expensive.

Netflix = add some cursing! This way you know you're not in network TV land. Also, some irrelevant sex scenes.

Many cast members disappeared.

Mike Ritter - secret service detail for Kirkman- I liked this character! Too bad he moved on
Lyor Boone - strange character that I didn't miss
Kendra Daynes - gone
Leo Kirkman - must be having fun at USC
Kimble Hookstraten - Sec of Ed - gone
Trey Kirkman - not one mention of Tom's brother

Many more MIA, but I was surprised that no mention was made of these characters.

Anyway, the 10 episodes went by quickly. I hope it's renewed.

I dont know about bad language, but more realistic language. The way the conversations went on Netflix, it seemed more realistic with the language used. Since that is how hear I people talking daily. Whether they are an executive or chairman with a company or government agency, on down to the cleaning staff.

Since Netflix is not constrained by the censures of Network TV, they can produce a show that is much more dialog realistic ..

I try and mind my P's and Q's when talking to a stranger or a person I have just met, it's just politeness from the Age I grew up in .. but, once they let one fly, all bets are off ..

It seems to me, the flexibility to use what may have been considered bad language 30 years ago has really been relaxed .. I'm sure the ABC's / NBC's, et all would be happy with little to no censorship ..

That's fine with me .. it's how most people talk, including POTUS ..

I totally agree. The difference from watching this before on network TV (whitewashed and santitized) to now (Netflix) is a night and day difference. To me this is much more realistic language.

I'm now through five episodes and am enjoying this season immensely. The raw dialogue that Netflix allows the show to use is great and the Dolby Vision image is beautiful.

Until this dropped on Netflix last week, I had no idea they had picked it up. I thought the show was dead and gone. I haven't watched any of the new season yet, though. I found the first two seasons interesting enough to keep me coming back. My main problem with this series is ultimately the premise they began with is kind of limiting. IF they stuck with the mystery of the bombing too long, that would drag and not feel realistic... but getting that plot out of the way, and it kind of just becomes like other procedural dramas that came before it... and that's not a bad thing, but they aren't mining any new ground really.

Julie White. who played the ditsy mom in the first few Transformers movies, has been incredible as Lorraine. I'd love to see her get a Golden Globe and/or Emmy nod. Lorraine is savvy, horrifying and hilarious all at once. Whoever is writing for her must be very happy. While the show is still a "perils of Pauline" ride, it is hitting every major social and political issue that this country is dealing with.

I thought the language was definitely more realistic, except for Aaron's girlfriend (Isabella?)....it was like she was learning to swear for the first time. She threw way too many instances of the f-word in where it didn't need to be and didn't sound realistic any more.
