I know that some TV watchers and critics have had enough of Survivor, but not me! I still think, every season, that this could be a GREAT one again.

I think this season should be good! And I know there are no Colson, nor Hantz'!!!

Still waiting for Survivor Mohave or Survivor Antartica.

I realize that it can be nasty on these tropical isles but . . .

Check out "Naked and Afraid XL". This last season they sent a dozen naked people, in groups of 3, into the wilds of South Africa. No food, or water, or tools supplied, one "Survival tool" each, for 40 (XL) days.

Not as much social interaction as Survivor (nor as well done), but, GOD, it was BRUTAL! 100+ degrees every day, Only 4 lasted until the end, and at one point the local Rangers made the cameramen and other crew join the cast inside their meager protection, while the rangers convinced a couple of lions that they crew were NOT food.

We'll have to see what things "look" like on the Premier, however, I think we at least have a little :: Jessica

Hi all, anyone been watching Aus Survivor? It is excellent.

Listening with Focal Elex headphones, Topping DSD Dac, SENCUN-audio tube preamp with tone control and Modded Little Dot hybrid tube amp with Voshkod 6ZH1P-EV tubes, Dual Discrete Op-Amp SS3602, and Alps Blue Velvet volume pot.

Watching in a room ensconced in velvet.

Cyclone on day 1 or 2, I certainly didn't expect that, even though I knew about it happening. At least they got that one out of the way, we also lost a decent set of hooters, even though they were bought.

I was hoping the Cast would be made to ride out the storm in place .. oh, well .. I wonder where Jeff took them .. ?? And Timid I'm Afraid of Everything Guy should have got the boot, IMO .. not the greatest casting call in Survivor History, AFAIC ..

Apparently they were taken to the base camp. https://www.yahoo.com/celebrity/m/a7...B%3A-jeff.html

All in all, a good start to a new season. I'm looking forward to the rest of it. BTW, the earlier cast photos didn't really do them justice. There is actually a little eye candy.

Yeah, I thought it was a decent start .. I just don't see the "ground breaking" Generational thing as being that big a deal .. to me, it's not that much different from "Brains / Brawn / Beauty" ..

And yes, we've got a share of "Beauty" this go round ..

My teen daughter is excited to watch this season since she likes the Gamer girl, Mari. It was good to see that she got a lot of screen time. Obviously, she's comfortable in front of the camera since she makes videos on YouTube. She seems to be rallying the uncool kids on the Millenials to oust the pretties.

From Figgy's bio:

What does it mean to be a Millennial?
Being a Millennial means being blessed with an innovative and creative mind, and the world is at my fingertips. It's all there; I just have to make it happen.

Who knew you are automatically blessed with a wonderful mind just from being born in a certain time period!

That Zeke dude on the Millennial tribe seems like an odd fit (as he even said himself). I kept calling him Pornstache (a la Orange is the New Black).

Seems like the moral of the story is to not say you're good at puzzles. Not sure but seems like blowing a puzzle will get you booted in past seasons.
