I'm taking the Pat's by 10 pts.

To turn it around and come beat the Pats in Foxboro is going to be a tall order. BB always takes away an opponents strength so Fournette will be stopped. I dont think Bortles will beat the Pats. I think it will be tough throwing for Brady but look to Dion Lewis to be the difference. NE 27-17.
actually I think that was the other way around..Pitt was the one talking crap before the game..several of their players were..the Jags were relatively quiet before the game...now after the game..thats a different story.,,and I call tell you that the jags are not taking the Pats lightly.

I know thats what I mean. The Jags were playing the disrespected card. They did not like what Pitt was saying. Now they are doing the same thing to the Pats. The Pats, trust me, unlike Pitt will be completely focused on Jacksonville and have a game plan to taking away their strengths.

i also want to drive to the stadium and talk to the coach and tell him that the Pats like to throw to their RB's constantly so dont look surprised like every other team does when they do it often. like as in letting them run around with nobody within 10 yards of them. for some reason teams seem shocked by this.
This. Look for White, Lewis and Burkhead if he is back to be the center of the gameplan. Also will be interesting to see how Jacksonville does vs Gronk. I would not be surprised to see the Pats run a ton as well. Lewis has been huge this year and the Pats are never afraid to change their offense based on the defense they are playing.

gotcha...yes Im sure the Pats will be ready..but the pats are certainly not the only team in the league that tries to take away opponents best players..I think pretty much every team does this. hopefully it will be a good game.

Yes they did but the Steelers D is not good. Believe it or not the Pats have the 5th best D in the league as far as points allowed. It doesn't seem like it cause they have one of the worst D regarding yardage allowed (29th). But you don't will games on how many yards you get

Also everyone is counting the eagles out too. I'm going to be rooting for them. AJAYI is my favorite power back this season. That guy is ridiculous! Paired with Blount you don't need a QB.

Plus I lived in downtown Philly for a while in the 90s when my ship was at the Philly Shipyard. (US Navy).

According to the Aikmans, the Steelers defense was slightly above average. The Pats defense was slightly better than that. Amazingly the top three defenses are still in the playoffs.

Not sure I have seen this in years past, but the top four teams in the Aikman ratings are the final four. I am not sure how much that would change with Foles at QB instead of Wentz.

Stats can make for great arguments - the only thing I'll point at is the Belicheck effect : the defense was giving up 30+ points per game in the first four games (2-2), then it graduated to 14.5 points per game since (11-1). Outside of the Steelers (W, 20 pts) and the Dolphins (L, 27 pts), all of the games have been under 20, some significantly so. That includes the Tennessee game, (14).

I think this Sunday it's more likely the 14.5 pt defense shows up.

On offense, Tennessee was fourth in rushing defense, so they threw. This time around, Jacksonville is first in pass defense, 26th in rushing defense. So....

Pats do not take anyone lightly, the hoodie and Patricia the rocket scientist will put in the work. Im sure Patricia wants another ring before he moves on. Some of the Jags players should be mindful at this time of year nothing is guaranteed. Im ok with swagger, but overload is what happened to Pitt.

it was just one player that said something and he said he was just trying to hype his teammates up...was not meant as a slight against the Pats..I assure you after hearing several player interviews, they arent taking the Pats lightly.

Funny how folks are saying Jags are going to have to be perfect to beat the Pats, Eagles will have to be on their game to beat the Vikes, etc... but then it's "what's Bills next trick or cheat" to beat the Jags...

I must say I have grown tired of hearing about Patricia the genius just because he has an aeronautical engineering degree from RPI. To listen to some, the only difference between him and Hawking is a wheel chair.

I'm hearing rumblings that Mike Tomlin might not be safe in Pittsburgh...I like Tomlin as a leader but as a tactical guy and game manager he leaves a lot to be desired...I think the Steelers should let him go and find another guy...the Steelers almost never make a mistake as far as head coaching hires which is why they've had only a few head coaches in their history...very stable and respected organization

I heard that as well, seems Ben threw him under the bus. I see Ben leaving before him, especially since he was the one mumbling he needed to retire after the first beat down by the Jags. Im glad they lost, I can handle a Pats abscence for the SB as long as they are done.
