They're in a strange situation.
All three QB's are up for free agency. They've spent three #1
picks in trying to get their QB - #1
's for Teddy Bridgewater, Christian Ponder (now with SF) and traded a #1
for Bradford. Keenum was added as a backup to Bridgewater, whose injuries are documented.
Keenum performed well for them, but any reference to him usually has the word Journeyman preceding his name. Bradford hasn't caught fire and Bridgewater, probably the most talented of the three is recuperating and a work in progress still.
Their 13-3 season was the result of their defense, in my opinion, so their management has to consider what could happen with a very good QB. Is Bridgewater that, or could an expensive free agent do the job?
I think they do need a new QB, with many questions about Bridgewater.
