That's what The Good Fight is doing. The show was off for a week while post-production work was being done all over the country. The show came back the next week and has been rocking since then.

You have to quote the post to get the URL out of a hyperlink so you can copy it. Then paste it into a new browser window. It will take you to the YouTube video. I just did it. Pretty cool job.

here's the embed...why does it say it was part of the Short Treks series?...that clip was from the actual episode...

Calling it a Short trek was probably a conceit on the part of those who created the clip. It led everyone to believe that they were seeing the real thing except that Enterprise did not destroy Discovery. Pike and the Enterprise bridge crew concocted a story that Discovery was destroyed in the fight against Control/Leland. That gave Discovery the cover to disappear as she followed Burham through the time hole. Whoever edited the video clip did an outstanding job. It's seamless and very convincing. I had to stop a think for a few seconds as then thought "wait, that's not what happened".

Nevertheless, The Good Fight will not be able to complete its season and will end three episodes short.

That's too bad. This season has been pretty wild.

Since we have idea as to when Season 3 will actually air, I took my Season 2 Blu-ray set and started to watch it again. I only occasionally watch with the commentary on but I it with episode 2 The New Eden. Jonathan Frakes and Anson Mount did the commentary and they were terrific. I guess I'll have to watch an episode and double back to watch it with the commentary on.

I really enjoyed the 2 seasons, especially season 2. Production value is off the charts for a TV series. I like the Chris Pike storyline and bringing Spock in to the mix. They did their best to merge the old storylines.

I am sure others have noted in some posts but I saw a few comments on stereo only. For Roku you and can get DD+ using the option button.

FYI, for Fire TV 4K device users.

CBS ALL ACCESS standalone app on Fire TV 4K device is now supporting Dolby Vision AND 5.1 Audio on ST: Discovery and ST: Picard. I was previously seeing DV support for these two shows and only Stereo audio. I guess a recent update has turned on 5.1 Audio as I am seeing it indicated on most current content.

UPDATE: I didn't realize that Dolby Vision and 5.1 Audio is only available on the commercial-free plan. A user in the Fire TV Sick 4K thread was troubleshooting no support for DV or 5.1 Audio on his system and didn't get either until he upgraded from the ad-supported pricing tier.

Been a while since I subscribed. Since Dolby Vision is available, does that mean 4K is available too?

It's been in 1080P HDR. Just like Netflix has when streaming it outside of North America.

2160P and HDR would be nice. But I'll take 1080P in HDR over 2160P in SDR almost any day.

Jeri Ryan in even 480i works for me. Nectar would need to be 720p.

Picard is DV and HDR10 in commercial free.
Discovery S1-3 are also DV and HDR10.

You can watch in HDR on ATV (5th Gen), FireTV (Stick/Cube), AndroidTV.

5.1 is available on most platforms.

Just for completion: the Good Fight is in HDR/DV and UHD (last two seasons). Twilight Zone S2 is HDR10/DV/UHD/5.1.

I didn't realize anything outside of ST: Discovery and ST: Picard were getting HDR/DV treatment. I saw Dolby Vision label on Season 4 episodes of THE GOOD FIGHT, but not on 1-3. Although, I have a second HDR-only TV and it doesn't present any labels for content even if it is HDR. I happily use my preferred CBS AA subscription thru Prime Channels to view most content for a better playback and unified UI experience. But, if more content on the standalone app gets HDR/DV treatment, I guess I will have to venture into the standalone app more frequently.

Thank you for sharing the information.
