FutureMan - Hulu Original

I watched the pilot and was hooked and have now watched the first three episodes. It's hilarious but warning it is produced by Seth Rogan and Evan Goldberg so it's grown up humor.

BTW, it's spelled "Future Man" not one word so if moderators want to fix it go ahead. But I think I saw it reported as one word elsewhere like "Superman" is. I've watched 7 episodes so far and still very hilarious (there was 13 episodes 1/2 hour each).

Yeah I like this show too. Good casting with a lot of familiar alt-comedy actors and they use enough pop culture and sci-fi references to keep it from feeling like a rip off of everything else.

Script is trying too hard in places to be outrageous and it doesn't have a Bruce Campbell lead to sell the audience wink as well as Ash does, but it's still funny. And Keith David is as good as ever. Really needed more of him.

Put the kids to bed *BEFORE* turning this one on.

This was a pleasant surprise of 2017. It was like Sausage Party meeting Ready Player One. I loved it.

I thnk when they stopped just trying to be outrageous for shock value the show got much better. The Cameronium heist was hilarious and full of clever funny James Cameron tropes and pop culture nitpicks without just being intentionally offensive to Cameron.

I especially liked the 👍 ending, because I’ve always hated that in T2!

I think the next season is scheduled to come out on January 11th.

I remember liking the season once they settled down a bit.

But it's been a while, so not sure what to take from the trailer...

I'm catching up on this one now and after a shaky first few episodes I'm really enjoying it. About a third of the way through season two.

I didn't recognize Haley Joel Osment at first! He was very good at playing a shrieking *******.

I think Wolf has turned into the best character -- when he bonded with Ed Begley Jr. over cooking and then seeing how that little arc progressed was one of the highlights of the show.

Tiger meeting her future teenage clone (or whatever the hell she is) was absolutely hilarious. The actress must have had a blast with that.

Funny and imaginative. Also only demands a 1/2 hour of time per. Nice.

Actually still waiting to watch this season (new baby and not one of the wife's shows, so...), but does anyone know of a way to search for only ~30 minute shows? I don't think InstantWatcher has it for Netflix/Prime either.
