Knightfall on History Channel

Series Premiere Wed Dec 6 at 10/9c

The Knights Templar were the most powerful, wealthy and mysterious military order of the Middle Ages, entrusted with protecting Christianity’s most prized relic—the Holy Grail—and harboring secrets capable of great destruction.

KNIGHTFALL goes deep into the clandestine world of this legendary brotherhood of warrior monks. From their battles in the Holy Land, to their complex relationship with the King of France, to the betrayal that would ultimately lead to their tragic dissolution, the story of the Knights Templar has never been fully told until now.

"I shall not commit the fashionable stupidity of regarding everything I cannot explain as a fraud." - C.G.Jung

it was ok, I'll keep watching , but like Vikings show better

seemed like they packed a lot of battles into a 1 hour
show so far........ rather had character building for the first episode..

I had a hard time trying to stay interested. No stand out characters and not much happening. I'll stick with it for now.

I watched it too and am lukewarm about the first episode. I'll watch another couple episodes before pulling the plug though.

The show was lame, the acting, wooden and amateurish, the concept of camera work from inside a guys helmet, a fail. Sorry History channel, you hired the wrong writers, directors, actors. One and done for me.

I happened to see a commercial for this show and then binge watched all five episodes and now I'm sucked into this train wreck in progress (referring to the typical drama parts). Lol...

I had high hopes for this show. After I watched two episodes I gave up. The acting was ok, but it all seems rushed to me. IMO this show would've been better as a full movie.

I have to admit to rather enjoying this series now that I've watched everything up to this point. Not great, but something to scratch the "historical" itch.

That's for sure. When I watch Knightfall and particularly Vikings, I've been turning on the closed captioning.

I know what you mean. It's like: dah,dah-dada, dah-dah (without the final dah-dah). You've got to have completion. Although lately I've abandoned some of the new shows that somehow don't need completion.

I still have whatever season left that I never started of TWD... I should just delete it because I've been over it for who knows how long... lol...
