OMG the sack rule with Mariota just showed why this game is a mess.

In the grasp and the defensive player didn't want to rough him and no whistle and Mariota started to run. Just BS.

These are just my opinions.

Why do the Refs hate the Browns?

Listening with Focal Elex headphones, Topping DSD Dac, SENCUN-audio tube preamp with tone control and Little Dot hybrid tube amp with GE tubes.

Philip Rivers is like a modern day Dan Marino. That comparison will unfortunately include 0 career Super Bowl championships.

at least Marino made it to a Super Bowl...Rivers might not even make an AFC Championship game...

the Packers are underachieving (even though Rodgers continues to play at another level)...Chiefs are legit and a real threat to win the AFC (if they can get over their Patriot jinx)!!...Browns are a weird team but at least the arrow is trending up!

Meanwhile, a missed extra point is a blemish on an otherwise offensive gem in Seattle vs the Rams.

Little chance the Vikings would have won save for the terrible call for roughing of Cousins by Michael Bennett late in the game. I enjoy anytime the Iggles lose and hope for the worst for Bennett, but that was a chump call. He hit the guy squarely in the butt and slid down his legs. I don’t have any idea anymore what a defensive player is supposed to do if he gets to the QB.

Heart stopper for the Panthers against the Giants -- Graham Gano with a 63 yard walk-off field goal for the win! NFL record is 64 yards, set back in 2013 in the mile-high air of Denver. It cleared the crossbar with plenty of room to spare and holder Michael Palardy said Gano hit the ball so hard it would have been good from 70 yards.

He only missed one FG last year, and hasn't missed at home in 2 years. He once made a 71 yarder in high school.

Broke my heart. A win would have put that stupid OBJ interview on the back burner for at least a few hours, now it's back in the forefront. What an ungrateful POS, they never should have gave him that contract. Giants season is over, NY Rangers 0-3, and golf season coming to an end, it's going to be a long winter. I think it's a message that that both of my teams lost to teams from my future home state yesterday, I should just move now.

Just let me know when I need to set up a tee-time. I think Gano is a member at Carolina GC in west Charlotte. We'll play there.

quote from Miami Herald that actually is correct for once...

You’ll read other stories saying it was poor pass protection. Gase blamed that fourth-quarter meltdown on “getting behind the sticks,” because by his logic everything was working great until the running game stopped delivering, putting the team in “third-and-forever.

Why was no one saying the obvious? It was Tannehill.

Bad offensive line play didn’t make a poor decision to throw an interception. A terrible running game or Laremy Tunsil in the concussion protocol didn’t fumble the football a couple of series later. It was Tannehill.

And it’s not that Tannehill is bad.

It’s just that Tannehill isn’t that guy who will save the day when things are bad.

He’s has not been the guy to bring the team back from terrible deficits against odds. He’s not been the guy to put the team on his shoulders and lift the Dolphins to victory in improbable moments.

Ryan Tannehill is not that guy.

He’s a solid quarterback. But that’s where it stops.

i disagree with that a little...I will not put all the blame on Tannehill...the oline play was atrocious...cant run block..cant pass block..was already missing 2 starters on the OL..then once the LT went down, it was game over..the new LT couldnt block at all..he had multiple penalties..was really way out of his league..they kept showing his face..he looked like a dear in headlights..he was god awful..soon as tannehill took the snap, he had guys in his face..thats hard for anybody. not saying he is great..but put any QB behind that line and they would struggle...and I am really souring on Coach Gase play calling..how many more times can he possibly call for the bubble screen...we run that at least 7-8 times a game and it never fools anybody and it never works..yet he does it...and 3rd and 10...yup..another bubble screen...seems like calling screens and runs up the middle is his forte.

and bad offensive line play ABSOLUTELY leads to interceptions and sack fumbles.

I'm a long time viking fan and have to agree that wasn't roughing the passer ...

Glad the vikings won though......

He actually played in the AFC Championship in 2008 against New England, the year the Patriots had a 16-0 record. Rivers played the entire game with a partially torn ACL.

As a lifetime San Diego Chargers fan (1967-2017), he along with the rest of the LA Traitors are sadly now dead to me.
