According to Amazon's Roku comparison chart all the 4k Roku models support HLG. The BBC is the only provider I know for sure that has live streamed events in 4K / HLG. Fubo uses HDR 10 which would require an in house conversion if HLG was the production format.

I left T-M TV last month but I did have a conversation with them this week and they couldn't confirm FOX NFL! It seems that they should have had the capabilities to deliver the NASCAR events this year also BUT THEY 'DENIED THAT' when I inquired earlier this year. In the past they've always said see our 4K blog.

That was never 'current' when I tried months ago. This is their most current

Optimum has added this year's ALCS on FOX to their 4k schedule. Still nothing from NBC.

Discussion of past events removed.

Just a couple of notes.

1. Thursday Night Football in 4k now has its own thread.
2. Technical questions about streaming devices will probably get faster answers in the section dedicated to those devices.

Looks like the ALCS games will all be unconverted from HD. I looked at the equipment list and it appears all the cameras, except for one Sony 8K camera for specialty use, are HD. I’m surprised, at this late date in the 4K era, they haven’t converted more equipment to 4K.

Is it possible because fox is doing 2 4K. Broadcast that night that some of their 4k camera are at the football game?

Fox will be doing 3 4K broadcasts total this week ...?
Just taking a wild guess here

I imagine it’s possible, but I’d love to see a complete list of all their mobile equipment. How many true 4K cameras do they own? Are you sure the football game is true 4K? That might lend more credibility to your theory.

The NBC ND game last week was phenomenal and there’s another this week. I got blasted last week for saying IMO the NBC presentation is more natural. To me Fox looks overly sharp. I also love how all the sites are saying this weeks ESPN are the first 4K games.

I could be mistaken , but i believe an article i read said only on DirecTV and now Xfinity , no streaming devices/apps

"In order to watch the ESPN 4K broadcast, users will need an eligible DirecTV or Comcast subscription package and 4K compatible equipment."

I just turned on the USC vs ND game on Xfinity. It’s 4k and HDR.

Nebraska vs Minnesota is 4k, no HDR on FS1.

Florida vs LSU is 4k, no HDR on ESPN. Looks great.

Nebraska Minnesota game is on FIOS on 1499.

So 2 4K Events on Fios tonight. ALCS and Neb-Minn. 2 is better than 1!

Love the pics of the splash screens. Wish I still had DTV, (moved into condo and couldn't keep it)

Hoping Verizon gets more 4k channels or adds ESPN 4K CFB Games for later dates!

My personal opinion FOX Sports events still look the best

Some of the camera angles on ESPN 4k game are awful
But the main field one looks good

wow , so just for testing i put one tv on the MLB game in 4K , and the other on local fox .. its a mind-blowing world of difference

Anyone else having glitches on the USC/ND game via DirecTV? Picture gets pixelated “smeared” then goes black for a couple seconds. There it went black again... it’s back but smeared... gone dark again... the audio is fine tho.

Checking out both the ALCS and the Nebraska Minnesota game via Roku tonight. I've had tons of issues with the football. The feed has reverted back to the pre-game crowd shot over a half dozen times. Sometimes I could get back to real time by exiting the feed and re joining but other times not. I talked to my buddy who has a Roku TCL TV and he was having the same issue. PQ is solid though, when working. I'm sure the rain is dampening the overall look a bit though. Since this Nebraska game wasn't listed on the Fubo 4K events page, does anyone if there is a better place to find information on Fox Sports 4k events?

this is probably the best place , i have been tracking 4K live events for 1 year now , and I update the thread sometimes multiple times a day
i do NOT know much about "streaming devices" , but if your looking for live 4K events tracker this post is good .
i think there might be subforums here that are better for info about "streaming devices" ...
