I can't believe the self proclaimed Tifosi 'round here have no comment. This is huge. Binotto is definitely the man for the job IMO. Short of Ross Brawn of course.

Funny how Toto has been looking so healthy the last couple years.

The only problem in your comments is the WCC. If LEC is as advertised, Merc will be forced into a position that wont be very wingman friendly. Dieter will not be pleased with second. And when Dieter's not pleased, Austrians get fired!

I’m not around often these days, but this is huge indeed. This could just be the key element that was missing last year (waiting for catonic’s next finger boy comment any moment now )

Happy new year to everyone by the way!

I wouldn't sweat the finger boy comments. The last thing Merc and RB want to see is a motivated Seb, looking to put last years mistakes to bed. Also, if Leclerc isn't quite ready, Binetto will waste no time putting everything behind Seb like Merc does with Lewis. Arrivabene was at least half the problem last year. Like him or not, if his head is in the right place, Seb has everything he needs to go heads up with Five Time.

If I were Bottas, then I would take a f#$k it attitude like Kimi. If you are going to be sacked, then might as well do it on your own terms.

I am thinking of attending the Barber race. I will see if my nephew can make it up there. I hope it doesn't rain again.

I thought this was going to be an issue with such a big time gap, but the next Formula E race is this weekend. With the holidays, I didn't give it a second thought. As I said previously, I am going to wait for the whole broadcast on youtube. I think it took three or four hours to post it. Worth it.

Such a gut wrenching display of poverty.

Ok, maybe not, but many of these cars demonstrate that it takes an obscene amount of money to have taste this bad. The Senna, Bugattis, some of the Lambos......form clearly does not follow function.

Ok, Max. Here’s how its going to go. See those guys out there, driving those annoying sounding RC cars? The ones that washed out of F1 or never made it? You wanna join ‘em? Straighten up and fly right, or this is your next stop.

https://us.motorsport.com/f1/news/ve...ula-e/4322592/

These FIA guys really know how to drop the hammer on a guy, eh? Here’s your punishment....a weekend in Marrakesh watching other people work.

Here's my take on this silly thing... Max should have apologized to Ocon, publicly since the whole thing was broadcast in the first place, no matter how "pissed" he was at the time. He was, we get it, maybe I would have done the same thing in the heat of the moment. But he should have apologized and THAT'S IT. His "I was right anyway" attitude was wrong and immature. You own up to your mistakes and move on. But his "punishment" is completely pointless, useless and unnecessary.

Ocon may quit F1 if he doesn't have a car in 2020.

Hey, Toto, here's a thought... Put Bottas in the simulator and Ocon in the car.

Yes, I thought the FE race was good, although partly spoiled by the late safety car that almost stayed out until the end. They should have some way to ensure a minimum number of laps at the end without the safety car.

I think Bottas has till the summer break. If he isn't close to Ham, then Ocon will be in the car at Spa.

Before that, if Bottas isn't close then hopefully Toto lets him know so he can get a jump on the driver market for '20. If Williams isn't happy with Kubica, then he will probably go back there.

I wouldn't know. I thought the youtube channel would have the race later in the day, but nooooooooo. FS1 doesn't have it yet either. I guess the live stream was available, but I got home late Friday night.

The FE channel does have some stupid punks doing commentary or the like over the race. I am not sure how this is in the least bit entertaining. If this is where they are going, then I will be out.

I did watch the highlights and it looked like it was a decent race.

Not a chance. Ocon won't make sure Hamilton finishes ahead of him every race.
