And yes MrTick, I apologize for Marshall Pruett being a "reporter/journalist". He was an engineer in Indycar and then decided to do something else. He does give some good info and can explain the technical side of racing well. Unfortunately some of his articles can be fanboy/fluff material.

I would not mind seeing Fred do a full season in IndyCars, but I am not sure it is in the cards.
I agree, Alonso won't want to do a whole IndyCar season. I think either it'll be 3 cars, or one of their two drivers will be contractually obliged to step aside. Whether they are happy about it, is a separate matter

Older, but a great read.

"That's why I have always refused to speak about him," says Prost. "When he died, I said, that I felt a part of me had died also, because our careers had been so bound together. And I really meant it, but I know some people thought it was not sincere. Well, all I can do is try to be as honest as possible."

^^ It seems to be temporary for the rest of the season, at which point they'll pick next year's driver. They already know a lot about Kvyat, and not so much about Albon. He might not do better than Gasly, although it'll be hard to do worse.

You are probably correct on seeing what Albon has, but Kvyat would have been the safer bet for maximum points.

Jay not Roger.

IIRC Robin Miller said that Roger isn't a Lawrence Stroll type when it comes to his kids. I think he had to do this all on his own.

Fair enough, but I don't think the kid mowed lawns to gather the cash to start the team.

I am sure he didn't. Of course, he had to slum it for a wife. All he could get was Elaine Irwin, Mellencamp's ex.
