If Titus takes the bet and wins he'll go instantly to elite status in "The Club".

Atta boy from the boss and boss junior should be incentive. Will be the AVS "Rudy".

Plus I'm offering him a lock.

C'mon TT (I got that one from biscuit) you know what made this thread better.

The great one won the Masters.

Now you can take the bull by the horns with a Koepka win at the open and he only has to take third place.

These are just my opinions.

Koepka has 11 Top 10s and 4 wins in majors since 2014. No missed cuts, and did not play twice.

His record for The Open since 2014, T67, T10, DNP, T6, T39.

Woods has 3 Top 10s and 1 win in majors since 2014. Missed cut 6 times. Did not play 10 times. Essentially, with his fragile mind and body, The Masters is his best major opportunity. A limited field with no rough to speak of.

His record for The Open since 2014, 69, CUT, DNP, DNP, T6

Best Player In The World. With the right priorities.

Who gives a flying copulation about the weekly FedExPoulanWeedEaterSmithBarneyClassic? The only golf I watch anymore are the Majors and a couple of other Big Events like the Ryder Cup. Unless I need a nap on a weekend afternoon.

I watch the LPGA more on a regular basis. That's the game I try to emulate, swing easy, fairways and greens, make some putts.

I record every weekend thru the summer. After a Saturday/Sunday night movie, it beats anything on TV.

Yep. I've always said to my golfing friends of the dude persuasion, if you want to improve your game, watch the women. Try to emulate their swings. They do it with timing & leverage, not brute strength. You may not hit it as far, but you'll be able to find it. And if you want to score well and beat your buddies in your Saturday foursome, there's something to be said for that.

Another plus: your aging back will thank you. There's something to be said for that too.

I'm amazed when watching the PGA Tour. The yardages they hit the ball I can't comprehend(I know the lofts are different on their clubs)."Jim he's hitting a pitching wedge from 170 yards to a tucked pin".

Just one more reason to watch the LGPA.The distances match more closely to what I'm accustomed to.

A 170 yds PW is not the norm on tour.

Some have lofts adjusted to narrow degree gaps in their set. Apart from obvious talent and hitting on the sweet spot 90%+ of the time, optimum club and ball fitting, and conditioning will do wonders. Wind, elevation, topography, adrenalin, etc. can help dictate club choice, too.

The easy swinging someone commented on, is because they are easy swinging, not swinging beyond their normal level of efficiency. Accuracy is their most important product, not distance. Unless circumstance dictates otherwise. "Hefty" can be excepted.

Yes, two different worlds for the most part, primarily because of male strength difference. Currently, 176 guys on tour drive it further than the leading lady on tour.

The men also have better short games, and their courses are set up much tougher.

Watch the women primarily for mechanics and game management. "Fairways and greens".
