As the case keeps mounting against AB according to reports of 20 or more different stories of AB's behavior I ask the question?

With extensive vetting what teams have before bringing a player to your team, what were the Pat's thinking.

The optics say only one thing to mind "winning".

Is this what only matters? I hope not.

And it's why I no longer watch football.

These are just my opinions.

Ron Rivera last Thursday "Don't even worry about the foot, the foot's got nothing to do with it".

Yesterday "Panthers QB Cam Newton re-aggravates foot injury; team has ‘no idea’ when he’ll return".

Guess it's time to worry about the foot. I don't think I've ever seen this many starting QBs go out in the first part of the season.

Q: How can you tell when an NFL head coach is lying about a key player's injury?

A: His lips are moving.

Kinda funny watching him get pelted with "so when DID you know" questions yesterday. I got a feeling this is his last year.

That's the growing feeling in Charlotte too. If this turns out to be a lost season, Riverboat Ron will be taking his last turn at the table. But ex-Panther head coaches usually get another gig somewhere before they either end up back in the defensive coordinator role or transition to the talking head world.

if the Panthers get rid of Ron Rivera can we get him on the Jets?...I think he's a great coach and could turn things around quick...or is it too soon to get rid of Adam Gase?

If available, it wouldn't surprise me if Fantasy Dan Snyder took a look at him for next season.

He seems like a good guy. You can see a lot of frustration there. Lots of "almosts" during his tenure. It's not easy to get everything to line up at the right time in this sport.

Hey Chad,

Who could have guessed we might be duking it out for bottom position this season!

At this point with our backup QB's backup starting (our 3rd string QB) and his backup basically signed out of nowhere, I'm down for possibly three Jet wins this year.

I figure the Fins will let us win the two games against them and in 1 of the remaining 14 games one of our opponents (Jacksonville, Big Blue or the Bengals maybe?) will somehow hand us a victory by screwing up at the last min with no time left to mount a comeback.

Are you going to have less than 3 wins this year?

Rob..the way things look right now..Im kinda worried we wont win anything..but if i had to guess..i would say 1 win is a safe bet...but so far we are playing pretty good teams..will be interesting when we play another bottom feeder...and on the bright side..u guys probably wont draft a QB..so you should have your pick at position players.

I think the Jets brass aren't totally sold on Darnold as the long term solution at QB...same way the Cardinals drafted Rosen and then immediately dumped him for Kyler Murray shows that teams are very jumpy these days...if the Jets are in a position in 2020 to draft either Tua Tagovailoa or Justin Herbert I think they would seriously consider it

While in hindsight Ryan was the better pick, Long was a good player for a couple of years. It isn't like they made a stupid pick like Dion Jordan in that draft.

Rosen is a bust, thats why Miami has him. I like Darnold, I think he's a slow but steady learner.

Don't sleep on Jalen Hurts, that kid was squatting close to 500lbs in 10th grade, pretty insane for someone who isn't a linemen at any age. Could be OK 3rd Heisman in a row

they should give the Heisman to head coach Lincoln Riley instead... ...and since we're talking college- what the hell happened to Chip Kelly?...went from genius innovator to crash and burn in no time...defenses seem to have caught up to his offensive wizardry

The Cowboys are -21.5 point favorites over the Dolphins. That’s back to back 20+ points against Miami. I don’t recall ever seeing this. Not even with Detroit or Cleveland. Lol

There are several QBs that look to be potentially good NFL QBs. There is Fromm and Lawrence and now Burrow is starting to make noise.
