The Houston Rockets are optimistic that the NBA office will take action after referees mistakenly did not count a James Harden dunk in Tuesday night's 135-133 double-overtime loss to the San Antonio Spurs, sources told ESPN...the Rockets are hopeful the league office will either award the victory to Houston due to the Rockets outscoring the Spurs in regulation or order that the final 7 minutes, 50 seconds be replayed at a later date, sources said...

Good luck to them with that. Difficult to believe all 3 refs blew the call, including video review.

That was hilarious. Lebron played it off legit, though.

No; watched bit of 1st half when he was on fire. Turned off after goofball Howard entered. Appears his latest career role, after all others failed, is to mimic Rodman. Unfortunately for the bozo, he doesn't have half Rodman's talent.

Doncic had another big game last night in Mexico City- 41 points, 12 rebounds, 11 assists...the Hawks must be regretting that draft night trade of Doncic for Trae Young (even though Trae has been surprisingly good)...right now Doncic and Giannis are neck and neck as far as MVP...

Players in NBA history to record multiple 40-point triple-doubles before the age of 21: Luka Doncic

That's it...that's the list

6rs-Celts contest was a good one for mid-season. Kanter won Celts fans admiration and Hayward was horrid when needed.

I thought Hayward was going to be in the concussion protocol after taking that shot to the face from Dougie McBuckets the other night. Or at least have a broken nose all taped & stuffed with gauze or something. But he didn't look any worse for the wear last night.

I'll be honest, I never even heard of Kuhn and Landis...Pete Rozelle can make a case but I'd still go with Stern for his overall body of work and the growth of the sport under his leadership

Baseball's attendance and popularity soared with Kuhn, who happened to be in right place at right time re: tv contracts. No doubt baseball's 'roid era wouldn't have occurred w/him. Landis received high marks for his treatment of Black Sox scandal; forgot that Bart Giamatti had to spank Pete Rose. Stern was great, but lots of legit contenders from the past.

Lakers/Bucks, 24-4 vs. 24-4, 5:00 pm Pacific on TNT. Should be a good game (go Bucks).

Davis isn't playing, so it's not the matchup of titans we had hoped to see.

I didn't think the Lakers would be this good...I also thought the same about the Bucks...I'm still not sold on these Bucks as I think they will be exposed in the playoffs...outside of Giannis they don't have any consistent stars to step up...Boston is still my pick in the East (and Philly will be a handful as well)...I also don't think the Lakers can beat the Clippers...Lakers are a 2 man show which is fine in the regular season...plus Lebron and AD are playing way too many minutes

should be a good game though...both games on TNT tonight are good- Rockets vs Clippers is the 2nd game

Sometimes that's an advantage for the team without the player, as the opponent relaxes ...

I thought the Clippers would be much better defensively but maybe they're saving themselves for the playoffs...so far Kawhi and Paul George have lived up to the hype, Lou Williams and Montrezl Harrell are solid off the bench but they need more consistent production from the other 3 starters

Shamet is just getting back from injury. Clips will probably get someone off waivers to help as well. They'll be rolling after the all-star break.

Personally, I prefer "idiotic", but absurd will work too. What really needs to happen is the regular season needs to be shortened by 20 games. Everybody knows it, it would improve the product immeasurably (less is more), but the League is too cowardly, craven, and greedy to even suggest it.

This ^^^^^^^^^^^^^

By the time the playoffs come around, the players are so worn out / injured, that the show is 2/3 or maybe even 1/2 what it could be. Like football, it has become a game of attrition, more than anything else.

YES!...Clippers beat the Lakers again!!...I thought the Clippers were done at halftime but they dominated the 3rd qtr...Lakers are going to win 60+ games but it won't matter as the Clippers are the better team...Lakers are too top heavy with Anthony Davis and Lebron...Clippers have the better overall team (Patrick Beverley, Lou Williams, Montrezl Harrell etc)...only thing that worries me about the Clippers is Houston might be a problem in the playoffs...so the Clippers can beat the Lakers but the Rockets might take out the Clippers in an earlier round
