NFL will reportedly lose $5.5 billion if games are played in empty stadiums. Roger and the owners will have to apply for an Archi loan to get by.

Only if I can stick 'em with some serious usury rates. It's the least I can do. Them dudes made out pretty well in the latest stimulus package, not to mention the last tax cut bill. Billionaires need love too, man. Lots and lots of love. In fact, it doesn't appear possible to give 'em enough love.

Dan Orlovsky has shocking Sam Darnold-Lamar Jackson opinion

“I’m taking Sam Darnold over every young quarterback that’s come into the NFL the last three years,”...“I think Sam Darnold is one of the most talented guys at that position that has come out of the draft in years.….I still believe that Sam Darnold has this… magical sloppiness to his game that is very Big Ben (Roethlisberger), Tony Romo-esque that he can do things that you just cannot nor would not coach into a player.”

https://nypost.com/2020/05/20/dan-or...ckson-opinion/

I hope he's right

I say this 95% "tongue-in-cheek": it is God's way of "getting even" with chintzy-cheap network for cheating the public out of honest-to-God 4K programming. Football in 4K HDR would be soooo gloriously beautiful, but it was "too expensive" to produce. Well, how expensive is THIS ?

Give us what our panels were built for !

My humble two cents comment is not to ruffle any feathers. Last season the Thursday night FB games were in 4K and so was the Super Bowl. Yes, they were: "soooo gloriously beautiful."

I read over on the Athletic that Vince McMahon is trying to buy back the XFL out of bankruptcy. Apparently he declared bankruptcy so he wouldn't have to float the league during the pandemic. Sounds like a page right out of his good buddy's playbook.

Or if your pretty good quarterback thinks he deserves to set the top of the pay scale and you know you’re getting held up.

Are you thinking that Dak is a little to big for his britches?

OUCH:
Mr. Mike Singletary is out after a 1-21 record at Trinity Christian-Addison(Dallas, TX?). That includes an 0-11 record last season according to the Bay Area NBC Sports site.

Just because someone is a good player or coordinator doesn't mean he will be a good head coach.

Mike Lombardi wrote an article yesterday about the lack of leadership training in the NFL. He proposed a leadership training school, which is a great idea.

I agree with you as well 100%. I also like to apologize for not mentioning Trinity Christian-Addison is a conservative non-denominational Christian HS in Dallas, TX suburb Addison. Mike Singletary attended Baylor University.

Peyton's trash talk about caddies to Brady was epic during warmups of The Match. TB12 didn't like the Foles remark.

I was reading this article on ESPN about Tua and they had a link to fan reaction of his selection. Two things immediately popped to mind. Where is Chad in the video? Along with "Man, there are a lot of fat people in South Florida"

Joe Flacco to the Jets: Why it's a good fit, according to Peter King

Flacco's best winning percentage against a division? It's against the AFC East. He's 7-0 lifetime against Miami, 3-1 against Buffalo...and he's won two playoff games in Foxboro in four tries. In those four games, the Ravens outscored New England by 27 points

It's all or none. Then everybody's in the same boat. Any social spacing will cause a bunch of butt hurt fans. That would be money & connections for the "haves" to get tickets and a lottery for the "have nots". Pick your poison, Make a buck in a maybe half full stadium and alienate the majority of your base or go empty and bite the bullet. Take a guess what the owners will do?

Owners preference is no brainer, pressure on local gov'ts to open arenas to fannies will be enormous. Interestingly, many universities will close campuses for semester at Thanksgiving break, start of prime fb season. WWFL will probably use same shtick they use to foist public funding of arenas: empty flag waving, civic pride, high paying concession jobs. Quite a racket.

if the MLB season is cancelled and the NBA doesn't start up their new season until Christmas then the NFL is going to have basically the entire season all to themselves (of the 4 major pro sports)
