Hi,

I am in the Washington DC metro area and am noticing quite frequent jitters and pixelation watching the game tonight on ABC.. I thought it was just WJLA ch7 so i switched to WMAR and noticed the same thing.. I have ~80% signal strength on each OTA. Anyone else noticing this?? Thanks!!

Seeing it here too on WABC-DT.

Same here in Montgomery, AL. Our ABC station went live in July but has just recently increased their power to the point that I receive the signal.
I was looking forward to my first HD Monday Night Football. Even with the problems, the signal looks better than ESPN HD and HD Net (my only things to compare it to). I do not know if it is the lack of compression but the the picture looks sharper and more detailed and the colors seem more vibrant,

Boston has 'em too. Figured it wasn't my reception, since the glitches are video only, and the signal strength is pegged.

Also here in Minneapolis. Sound is fine---5.1.

Fresno CA likewise. Must be a problem with the network. It's very brief pixellation every few minutes, not really horrendous imho.

Same here is Sioux Falls, SD OTA, by signal is jumping from 80% down to 55% when the pixelation occurs so I thought it was local. Maybe the local is getting a drop from the feed.

I just called ABC master control in New York about the problem and was told that the problem was at the game site and that they were working on it.

Man, I just spent 15 minutes positioning and repositioning my antenna trying to figure out why I was getting dropouts for the first time ever on ABC.

Should have checked here first.

I hear there is snow in the area, but I can't imagine that they wouldn't be prepared for that.

NJ checking in watching ABC Philly (6-1) anyone else have audio issues??

Im in Dolby Pro Logic II and the anouncers are comming threw the rear surround speakers and not the center channel although the commercials are fine.

The front three speakers are croud noise and snap counts. The in stadium sound system is booming threw as if i was there.

I was really looking foward to turninhg the anouncers off. Guess not.

Oh yeah ive tried other surround fields and there all the same.

D* ABC is fine btw.

I just joined the game late after having spent an hour diagnosing internal phone-line problems. I thought, "Crap! This just ain't my day!"... then I immediately came here, just in case ;)
Thanks!

Comcast HD in Philly....pixelation and audio dropouts aplenty. Also, announcers are all coming out of the left surround.

Is it just me or are these two teams really smackin' down extra furious tonight? Man! There are some excessively serious hits out there tonight! And Farve just tossed an INT and took the legs out from #54 to save the TD.
