Mixing Fiber HDMI and Non-Fiber Turns Screen Green

I plugged fiber optic HDMI cable into an output port on my Monoprice HDMI splitter and it turned my other TV screen green. I hope someone here has seen this happen. What is happening and how do I fix it? The second tv is on one of the other output ports of the splitter. Obviously, the fiber cable is somehow backfeeding something into the splitter that is going out the other port and causing the green screen. Is there a fix?

Edit update: The problem was caused by the original cable going to the tv with the fiber optic cable. The fiber is replacing that cable because the 35 footer was cutting out frequently. I just hadn't removed it yet so there was a loop going on that caused the green screen on the other tv.
