Speaker Wire Banana Plugs on Both Sides of Wall outlet.

Hopefully this is the right forum for this question. First time poster here.

I have installed keystone speaker wall plates for my home theatre. I found that I can not install banana plugs on both sides without them running into each other. Is there an alternative? Either shorter banana plugs or? I can't use a spade on the inside due to clearance problems. If I can use banana plugs on both ends of the speaker wire it would allow me much more choice of pre finished cables. Not a huge deal but more for curiosity's sake.

Thanks.

Banana plugs are primarily for ease of un/plugging. I don't see the point of using them on the in-wall side of a plate. (I didn't on mine.) YMMV.

Definitely trying to avoid bare wire and pins wouldn't be my first choice. Could go to a solder type rear, regular binding post front. Wanted to see if there were other options.
