HDMI balun cat5e 4k/HDR help needed

Here is my equipment:

Epson 3800
Onkyo TX-NR686
Xbox One X
Gofanco 4k/hdr baluns (HDBASET-HDR) connected by cat5e

The baluns are connected with high speed HDMI cables, and stay powered on 24/7. Everything is set to 4k/HDR. The xbox is hard wired on a 500mbps connection.

When I turn on my projector/receiver/xbox using my logitech harmony, my receiver gets a 4k picture from the xbox, but the apps within xbox (Amazon, Netflix) default to 1080p streams. I have to power-cycle the HDBASET-HDR in order to get 4k/HDR working. Once I've power-cycled, Amazon/Netflix both show 4k/HDR and the projector toggles into HDR mode and everything works great.

However, there is no way I can power-cycle the HDBaseT every time.

Any suggestions? I've tried powering on my devices in a different order (receiver, console, projector and receiver, projector, console) to no avail. Power-cycling the balun is the only thing that works.

Thanks in advance.

The baluns aren't rehandshaking every time you power the devices on and off and your power cycling them is refreshing the handshake, you may need to try different baluns
