HDMI 4x2 Matrixes
1 Attachment(s)
I have been through 3 HDMI 4x2 Matrixes in the last 5 years, 2 within 3 months. The same outputs ( Output 2 ) on all matrixes that are connected to my projector keeps going bad. I checked the HDMI cables and all are good. My Tv is connected to Output 1 and has never went bad on none of the other matrixes. Also when I plug the projector in the Outout 1 port it works fine. However, that defeats the purpose of having to continue getting up to switch ports. Is it possible that the port in question is getting a surge that's possibly blowing the port?
I've bought another Matrix, but I'm kind of hesitant about connecting until I have this issue rectified.

Are replacing them with the same units?

The store replaced the same one as above, that went out within a month, but I haven't connected yet. The other two were from different manufactures and lasted about a year from purchase. I have a pic of the second, but none of the first, which was purchased around June 2016.

One of the differences between pro / good stuff and cheap stuff is longevity.
Pro stuff is from AVPro, HDTVSupply, JustAddPower, ShinyBow and others.
