I just received my Darbee I got from Mike at AV Science. I am having a very odd issue. When the unit is connected through my Onkyo (TX-NR808) all video sources work with the exception of the signal from my Frontier FIOS Motorola DVR box. What is odd is, If I run the Darbee without going through the Onkyo, it works. So the suspect appears to be the Onkyo. Since I have had this Onkyo for a few years, I decided to install the latest Firmware direct from Onkyo. After this new firmware upgrade it still is not working. The Onkyo says “no signal”. Yet it drops in and out audio. If I switch inputs then back to the Fios, it comes in for a second, says it is 2-channel stereo then drops out again.
For testing, I switched to a 32” Samsung TV as my output viewing source to rule out any cabling issues, or the Projector. Still get same results.
Somewhere along the line, I got this Blue Screen error. I can’t tell you what piece of equipment originated this, but I am attaching it anyways as it might help.
I just do not know the term “Repeater”….As to what source it is referring to. Nor can I recall when this appeared during all my testings.
My Onkyo passes my DVD player, ROKU, PC, and VCR with the Darbee connected. But when I switch to TV via the DVR box, no go.
Would changing the RHID HDMI to “off” help? I read in the manual that with this on it could cause unstable issues.
