Yes, it's all about getting VRR to work while extracting full audio, it's done using an unconventional way since as you might know, this is normally not supposed to work that way but we found a way and it works.
Now to make a hardware available out of it, we need some real demand for it which we don't have yet.

Sign me up. Is it for hdmi 2.0 or 2.1 devices? Or both? Make something low cost like an avr key. My use would be for the xbox one or pc with an amd graphics card. It's too bad that you can't update the integral 2 to support it. That would be even better.

We can make it for both 2.0a/b or 2.1, and yes that cannot be made via software, it needs new hardware because as wrote above the method is unconventional.

I continue to have issues with the RX unit not seeing any input. It will work fine for a few days and then it doesn't. Powering off the RX unit for 10 seconds and then plugging it back in fixes it.

The Link Powersave function on the RX unit is turned off.

Hi,
I am really need your help!
have the Hdfury Integral2 with the Jvc x5000 projector.
I read about the jvc macros and really got interesting but not understand well how to use it so, I have few questions:
1. What the macros do? changes the picture mode depending to the contact to my pictures mode or to new picture mode that exists in the Hdfury?
2.I need to download some package that suitable to my projector?
3. There is some risks that can brick my projector?

If you have Integral2, then please use Integral2 thread.

I suggest you read about JVC macro here: https://www.avsforum.com/forum/24-di...l#post55408090
Refer to Manni post on this link. You can download his guide to have better understanding.
And no you cannot brick your PJ

The Vertex and the Integral2 isn’t the same?
I read about Manni guide but not understand well if the package is also for my projector.
What I need to do with this package? Import the file to my projector with jvc software or the Hdfury do it automatically? I am really confused... 😐

Vertex and Integral2 have similar features, but they have different support thread to not confuse readers, so please since you say you are confused already, please do not add more to it and use the right thread for the product you have

For JVC, just ask help from JVC owners in JVC thread, they will help you out. nice community.

I now have a 4K OLED as well as my 4K JVC (so the Vertex doesn't need to do any scaling etc) and my Marantz won't play nicely with two 4K displays.

What are the necessary settings for using the Vertex as just a splitter, source being the Marantz to OLED &JVC PJ please?

Nothing special, splitter is default mode so it will work out of the box. if problem, send config export (usermanual p43)

SCALING > AUTOSCALING
HDCP > MIDDLE/AUTO POSITION
EDID > MIDDLE for 4K HDR, AUTOMIX if you also need DV support for TV.

Ive had my Vertex for a while however I have just changed computers (both running win 10 pro). Now the GUI doesnt seem to work on my new computer, when I plug it into my old computer it works fine. Now when I click the GUI it states 'USB device open error' and 'Hardware not found'. The GUI then opens blank. I have tried diff USB 2.0 and 3.0 ports and updated MCU and FPGA. Im running version 1.37.1.44 and i have removed the lock symbol and power cycled the device. I have also gone into properties and ticked 'Override high DPI scaling behaviour' and changed it to 'System-Enhanced'.

I am unsure what the issue with the GUI could be, I changed from an Intel to AMD however that shouldn't be a problem i hope.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Did you install the Silabs Driver that is available on the downloads page for the Vertex?

You probably connected the unit to computer before driver was installed and windows took them from internet which won't work, so just removed them, reboot, reinstall, reboot, connect ,wait for usb notification from windows and then proceed.

You already asked same question on support server, please use ONE WAY to ask for support only, otherwise we delay others and repeat same thing for nothing.

you prolly need to use AUTOMIX with TOP OUT flag checked if AVR is at TOP OUT.
if that does not help, export your config (usermanual p43) and add it as attachment in your post.

@HDfury

Are there other LLDV EDIDs I could try with the Vertex besides the Sony A1 LLDV v2 EDID which came with the 1.32 update? I have the lastest 1.37 flash installed.

I've had success testing this setup...

Sony x800m2 4k hdr/dv player -> Vertex -> JVC x990 (rs640) projector

... but I'm curious if any other player led protocols are available to test.

JVC DLA-X990 - 128" 2.35 1.3 Gain Screen - Vertex2 - X800M2 - UB820 - ATV4K64 - ROKU Ultra - PS4 - XBone
7.1.4 Atmos - Denon X4300H + Denon 3806(LCR) - JBL Control 5 - BIC Sub - Dayton

No, if you have Sony Player, then A1 should give best possible results, or ask EDID dump from people who have latest A9 and such, may be its a bit different but I don't think so.
EDID.tv also have some TV EDID available.

Gracias ... can you comment on what benefit I might gain from the more robust LLDV support in the Vertex2, Diva or Maestro?

I noticed the ability to better automate some functionality like turning LLDV on/off depending on the source material.

If you download the HDfury EDID Collection zip file from the Download page of any of the products, in the Diva EDID Tables folder there is an LG C8 LLDV EDID that you can load.

LGC8-CUSTOM8-DIVA-FULLAUDIO-LLDV.bin

It is included in my Diva's list of custom EDIDs, but not in other products it seems.

I could be wrong, but it is my impression that the LLDV output from either my Oppo and ATV4K differs when using the Sony A1 vs the LG C8 LLDV EDID. This is when playing Dolby Vision UHD discs in my Oppo and Dolby Vision titles from Apple TV+.

Hi Claw...

The image from the Sony A1 LLDV and the LG C8 LLDV are different. I assigned that LG EDID to one of the open custom tabs (#8 which previously did not operate at all, giving me only snow). The Sony EDID looks better to me, as far as what I have reported in my observations, like the Endgame Open with Tony and Nebula playing "football", where the peak white lumens from the bright scene objects like the table, sparks and star fields, look much better, brighter, natural with the Sony EDID. This probably reflects @HDfury 's comment regarding what might be the best match for the x800m2 and the x990.

As I mentioned in another thread I get better results using the LG EDID in combination with my Oppo and JVC RS500.

LLDV will make more processing done on player when using A1 edid than any other brand.
so LG C8 LLDV will make more processing on display end.

That's why I think only variations of Sony EDID can prolly change something if user have good results with A1 already, but I do not think there is much difference between newer Sony TV and A1 and if there is any, there should be difference toward a similar state than LG (where display can accept more processing load than currently sony A1 can)

@HDfury

You may not know this, but does the use of an LLDV EDID on the Oppo 203/205 work with HDR10 coming in thru the player HDMI input?

Not sure I got the question right at all...

If you mean, does LLDV edid also advertise HDR10 support, then answer is yes and oppo should be able to deliver HDR10 or LLDV regardless (depending if content is HDR10 or LLDV ofc)
Now does OPPO203/205 allow LLDV from it's input, I'm not sure. 203/205 owners should be able to answer that.
