Help Yamaha AVR RX-V681 4k 60Hz

I'm currently going through an AVR nightmare trying to get decent video output from my PC through my receiver to my UHD 4k Monitor.

Is there any possible way to get 60Hz on my monitor while using this AVR with an HDMI?
I can't even get 60Hz by separately using a display port to the monitor and HDMI to the AVR because for some reason that causes the display port to be limited to 30Hz as well (60Hz when the HDMI isn't connected).

My graphics card is a GTX 1080Ti

Some details on the Source, Display and HDMI cable lengths and how you have the devices connected would be handy.

AVR's can impose limitations you may not have if you connect your PC direct to the Display - I take it you have tested that option?

You could try running a Utility such as Monitor Asset Manager and compare what the PC is 'seeing' direct and via the AVR - http://www.entechtaiwan.com/util/moninfo.shtm
