(I'm not very technically proficient with this tech so if there's a better way for me to do this under 0.60, please let me know.)
Just click DV custom string or read claw post just above, he mentioned that there will be such questions.

I'm not holding my breath that this is possible, but it would be convenient for me to use this in conjuntion with my television and PC.

Yes as long as it is within 18Gbps bandwidth then it's possible, such as 4K120 4:2:0 or 8K30 4:2:0, yet, you must have a source capable of sending this out and then of course, no scaling or operation possible on such signal, they just pass thru, yet audio out would still be able to extract sound from it. (as far as I recall)

Hi Claw,

About the update in general: yes it' s a serious update and it have lot of new values in export, especially various status for input/output that should allow us to understand and solve tough issue more easily, actually it is getting close to signal analyzer

About the above, yes before LLDV forced A1 string, but guys here wanted to play with the string values, so now the DV string is fully exposed, default is same as before LLDV from Sony A1, but now anyone can play with values, or force any other LLDV or normal DV from any DV TV just by copying the string in it, so you can just connect your DV TV, see the string on the DV page and copy it to be used while applying some changes... of course that is for advanced users only, so normal user should just use Automix normally and it will use their TV DV string or check DV custom string and it will use Sony A1 LLDV.

Of course, no need to ask us which bytes does what or what represent what in that string, no one actually knows unless you pay Dolby fee and they of course do not allow small company like us in their paid membership club, so one needs to have some skills and patience and try to figure it on its own, that is what we made possible here, people can now try to deduct what does what.

Regarding my previous note about the Disable output HDR when HDR10 checkbox setting not restored on import;

I found that if I enable all of the check boxes:

Use custom HDR for TX0 and TX1 [ignore RX HDR]
Use custom HDR for TX0 and TX1 when input is HDR10 [ignore RX HDR10]
Use custom HDR for TX0 and TX1 when input is HLG [ignore RX HLG]
Use custom HDR for TX0 and TX1 when input is HLG and display has no HLG support
Use custom HDR for TX0 and TX1 when input is LLDV (for ATV only)
Disable output HDR for TX0 and TX1 when input is HDR10
Disable output HDR for TX0 and TX1 when input is HLG
Disable output LLDV for TX0 and TX1 when input is LLDV (for ATV only)
Disable all output HDR/HLG [keep LLDV]

Then perform an export, followed by an import, all of the check box settings are imported correctly.

But if I only mark the one setting:

Disable output HDR for TX0 and TX1 when input is HDR10

Then perform an export followed by import, the check box setting is not imported and is unchecked.

Thanks for the info, that is exactly the problem I am trying to solve.

I have the source (my PC) and I have the sink (HDMI 4 on a Samsung Q90R). What I didn't know is if the Diva can pass this signal yet also extract the audio in order to send it to my receiver.

What GPU are you using for 4K120 on Q90R ?

I do have a Diva now but I cannot get ARC to work - my setting:

- LG OLED55B7D [HDMI 2 (ARC)] --> Diva (TX0)
- DIVA (TX1) --> HDMI to USB3 Grabber (Ambilight) with Rapsberry Pi4
- Diva - Audio Out (HDMI) --> AVR (Yamaha RX-V685) - HDMI Out 1 (ARC)
- Diva (HDMI Input 0) <--> AVR (Yamaha RX-V685) - HDMI Out 2

Eyerything works fine with other sources, but ARC does not work at all. Any hints? DIVA is configured as CEC audio processor. The LG does not play any sound with integrated TV apps.

You cannot connect an OUTPUT to another OUTPUT !!!
AUDIO OUT must go to AVR INPUT !

But usually this output is used for arc, so why it is not possible in this case?

First of all because an output connect to an input, you cannot connect output to output or input to input, that does not exist.
Second because of nature of how ARC/CEC works, you have not yet realized that ARC is just a single wire (or two) in a hdmi cable between a TV input and AVR ouput.
Third and most important, what would be the point to extract eARC FULL sound from eARC TV and send it to an AVR ARC output that only support 5.1 or DD+ at best > cannot work and stupid isn't it ?

Sorry it took so long to reply. I'm having some annoyances with this right now due to a change in my setup that requires me to now use a long fiber optic HDMI that I am finding is of marginal quality (I'm occasionally dropping the signal). Prior to this using a high quality 4' standard HDMI cable things worked as expected. I wasn't aware that there even was a problem with this in the first place but right now I'm reading about the issue you mentioned that people were having with the early Q90 firmwares. Glad I didn't jump into it months ago!

It's really not a big deal either way, but it would be convenient to have an easy way to reroute the audio to my receiver. My Denon will decidedly NOT allow 4K/120 to pass to the display under any circumstances.

HDFury wall mount

Hi there,

for those who are interested. I designed a wall mount for the Diva to print with a 3D printer.
It can be installed both horizontally or vertically.

You can find it at the following link for free.

Best fiber are Celerity Tek but very expensive, otherwise Moshou seems reliable at affordable cost.

For 4K120 if 2080Ti can output it, then you can more likely extract sound from it via our AUDIO OUT. We might have to make an update for signal recognition first, that means we might have to get a 2080Ti first too.

Can you send a config export when you are trying to send 4K120 to Diva so we can check it.

Hi there,

for those who are interested. I designed a wall mount for the Diva to print with a 3D printer.
It can be installed both horizontally or vertically.

You can find it at the following link for free.

Greetings, Cambridge
Thanks! I printed one yesterday and it came out great. Any chance you've done one for a miniDSP 2x4HD too? I'm thinking of doing it and the wifi adapter now to match it and clean things up.

I've been trying to figure out how to do this but I've had no luck. When connected to Diva the Nvidia Control Panel does not expose 4K/120 as a valid option, which is what I expected. If you try to force it as a custom resolution the screen goes black and the PC becomes unresponsive, requiring a hard reboot. Diva reports no signal detected on the OLED screen. I have no idea if I am just choosing incorrect settings in the custom resolution screen or if there is something else at work. Only connecting the PC directly to the One Connect box allows for 4K/120 to be selected.

If you use COPY TX0 EDID mode (if TV is at TX0) then it's same than a direct connection and you should have exact same option from your PC, so do this and export config, signal recognition is prolly something we need to add via update as stated previously, but EDID should work just fine as long as you copy your TV EDID.

Thanks for the instructions this exposed the proper resolution in Nvidia Control Panel. As expected once enabled this signal does not pass but I have attached the requested export config.

Hi,

Because I do not own a miniDSP 2x4HD, I took the dimensions from the manual as a reference and drew a wall bracket for you.
I hope it fits.
