composite video recorder

I want to be able to record shows from Xfinity from the RCA composite videos jacks on the back of the box. I don't want to rent a DVR from them. Composite video resolution will be good enough for the old movies and TV shows I want to record.

I have been using a VCR, but the resolution sucks, and it's only good for 2 hours per tape.

Is there a digital device that can replace my VCR?

I have an OTA antenna that allows my to record two channels (CBS & FOX so I can record NFL games) on my Channel Master DVR+. Unfortunately, there is no way to record composite video on it.

Thanks

Bumping this thread. It's been almost a year, and I'm back to the same issue that I'd I'd like to cure.
