Faroudja vp401

Hello,

Is the Faroudja vp401 NTSC only or does it also exist in a PAL version?
I know an hifi store which has one second hand but mu sources are mainly PAL; except for an NTSC only laserdisc.

thanks in advance
Dr W

According to the manual, it is NTSC only. It quadruples normal NTSC interlaced to 1060p. It outputs a RGB analog signal. https://www.manualslib.com/manual/81...page=17#manual /they had a VP401U model that did both NTSC and PAL

I still have mine. At the time of a 3 gun projector for me it was awesome. Still have my Proceed AVP also, don't of course use any of them but someday it may be fun to just hook it all up and see what it does.
