Cool OREI HDMI Splitter products

hey everyone,

just wanted to see if ya'll had any experience with this manufacture's line of products. i recently got into 3D projection with my Optoma HD25e, the problem is my AVR is Denon 4308 and doesn't pass 3D signals.

i'm thinking about getting this:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...Q2F9CQDR&psc=1

to split my 3D Blu-Ray signal one directly to the projector and the other to AVR for audio.

does anyone have any experience with this product line? seems it should do what i need to do with it.

i haven't $ to upgrade AVR yet, still saving up on that piggy bank, my next upgrade might be the Denon 3600 maybe.

in the meantime would like to hear audio while watching 3D features. i tried doing it on my HTPC GeForce 1060 graphics card but they want to protect the content so the cyberlink PowerDVD wouldn't spit out audio only to my AVR separate from the signal directly to 3d projector. 2bad... the computer should be able to do it... but probably can't due to hdcp.

edit: i ordered it. we'll see what happens >)

report: the one i ordered didn't work the HDCP handshakes did not complete for dual display. i can play 3D directly to the projector fine. i can play 2D directly through receive fine through the splitter.

but when i tried using both 2D and 3D concurrently it does not give me the audio.

therefore, i've returned it. i saw on amazon another hdmi audio extractor with hdmi audio out only... it's more expensive but more of what i'm looking for.

This is exactly what I was looking for. My Roku doesn't have an optical out and my sound bar doesn't pass through 4k. Thanks for the information!
