Audio control of HDMI-CEC of HDfury AVRKEY

Hi,

HDFury is need new feature it can control audio device as like volume control and power ON and OFF control using by HDMI-CEC so don’t no more need two remote controller for video and audio.

Now, there have only one feature that is HDMI-CEC signal passthrough to video port only but need it can control volume up and down and power on and off control for audio device.

Because AVRKEY it can separate HDMI Video and Audio signal but there have no HDMI-CEC signal passthrough and process for audio.

Can it be add new feature as new firmware update for avrkey?

There is a thread for AVR-Key here: https://www.avsforum.com/forum/37-vi...-key-help.html
Please use it for AVR-Key related question.

What you are asking here have nothing to do with our devices, please google how CEC works and once you understand how CEC works then you know that to get cec commands to work the device you want to control must be downstream to TV.
So if you connecct a cable from sound system output to tv input, then CEC works, as simple as that. Yet that might introduce other issue like CEC switching, etc... but that's CEC related as well, sometime works fine, sometime not, because there is no standard for implementation, every manufacturer do as they feel.
