In-ear: dome size relevance on low frequencies?

I might be replacing my almost-10-years-old Sony's DR-BT20NX with Sony's WI-SP600N.

I think the old ones sound very good on low frequencies, but they have 9mm domes as the new ones would have 6mm.
Could these mean the new ones almost certainly have lesser and slower bass?
Is there an physical limit how small dome can produce low frequencies in needed volume?

Another thing:
is there any "consumer" bt-headphones (with mic to use with phonecalls) with any kind of low-delay scheme (if such thing exist in bt-world), so they could be used to monitor video camera sound input?
