Post PSB M4U 8 - Windows 10 USB driver

To any PSB M4U 8 owner out there:

If you connect your PSB M4U 8 headphone to your Windows 10 laptop via USB (USB 2 or 3), which USB Audio version does Windows 10 (1809) load?
Class 2 "USB Audio 2" or the basic Class 1 "USB Audio Device".
To check:

Open Device Manager, scroll down and expand "Sound, Video and Game Controllers", right-click on "PSB M4U 8 USB Audio", "Properties", "Details" Tab and under Property select "Device Description".
Which Value do you see? "USB Audio 2" or just "USB Audio Device".

With my Lenovo IdeaPad Y410p laptop with Windows 10 1809 (have not updated to 1903 yet), "USB Audio Device" is installed; not "USB Audio 2". This limits my Sound format to a max of 16bit/48Khz. The built-in DAC on the PSB's is 24bit/48Khz.

To check:
Control Panel > Sound > select the PSB M4U 8 > Properties > Advanced. Which is our highest resolution? 24bit? 16?

If from within Device Manager I "update" manually the default USB driver (Class 1) to Microsoft > USB Class 2, I see and error code 10. No go.
