Flixshed better than NetFlix and free?

Anyone heard of Flixshed?

Just found this "article" that says it is better than NetFlix and it is free.

http://www.zapping.com/news/zapping-...m&nat=american

Is it some sort of "scam"?

Because I did a search for it and NOTHING comes up.

"Fishy".....this service won't last long and the article reads as a paid advertisement.

Zapping and Flixshed IP's all resolve to Amazon servers......wonder if they know what is being promoted.

It's fishy, and also uses the name flixhanger apparently. (forced name change?) The price schedule isn't disclosed up front, but buried in the ToS.
For instance, the "free" trial will set up your credit card for recurring $49.95 per month for the "Premium" service, unless canceled within the 5 day trial. Of course, there are complaints that canceling doesn't occur in a timely manner.
On a yearly subscription fee basis it's between about $140 and $600-- not exactly a deal.

It's only free for the first 5 days then they'll charge you $50 per month. I pay $8 per month for Netflix which is where I'm staying.

Hey .... I actually thought that this was one of my posts as you layout things like I do

Anyways , looks like it's a big scam as their stance on "licensing" is shady to say the least

Here's a bit of copy and paste -:

So when it comes to licensing, we believe that any reputable streaming company should disclose where they’re pulling their content from, and how this content was obtained. Without this, there’s no way to know if you’re accessing content that was purchased lawfully, or simply third-rate pirated copies (again, we’re not told what kind of quality you can expect).

Here’s all we’re told in FlixShed’s Terms: not too impressive .

"You may view the Contents and enjoy the Service only in geographic locations where We have obtained the relevant licenses (hereinafter, the "Territories"). Therefore, Contents that may be available to watch may vary by geographic location."
