New Spotify User. I'm Lost. Can Someone Help?

I just signed up for Spotify after being a Pandora member for a number of years. Like in Pandora I'm trying to set up My Stations by Artists and then be able to play a shuffle mix of all the artists. A sample of mine would be Count Basie, Frank Sinatra, Miles Davis, Neal Diamond, etc. I currently have about fifteen different stations now on Pandora. I have inquired in Spotify's user forum area and can't find anything that looks like what I want. Can a user here answer these questions:

1. Does the function exist?
2. How do I do it?
3. With the free version what bit speed do I get? A recent CNet comparison suggested 300kbps+ speed but didn't say if it was Premium only.

Thanks for any assistance. The higher speed was my major motivation. Pandora only does 192kbps.

Jack

The high bandwidth option is Premium only (I believe it is 320 compared to 160 for free). In terms of getting a personal radio station you can create your own using the Stations, then add an artist, playlist or album. To get a mix of artists I guess you would need to either create a mixed playlist first or select a mixed album and then create a station from that.

Room 1 system: Paradigm Reference Active 7.2 system, Anthem AVM50, Oppo BDP-103. Pioneer Elite 610HD. Room 2: Samsung 65HU8550 with SEK3500, Paradigm Monitor 5.1 system, Denon AVR-X2400H, Oppo BDP-203, Nvidia Shield, Apple TV 4k

The article lokked like they had a Hulu/Spotify combo for $11 or $12. I pay that for Hulu now. I'm surprised that they don't have the simple My Station ability I use. All I had to do was search on my artist, add his/her name to the MY Station list and hit Shuffle when I want it to play randomly from my list. Works great on an Echo using Alexa.

Thanks for the help. I think one issue I have is that the interface on my Chromebook isn't like the examples I get when I do a search on Google seeking help. I try it on my W10 or iPhone to see if it's any better.
