On the directional pad, press and hold the center and down together (simultaneously) for 5 seconds; then release the buttons and press the remote's menu button. Many times I have to do it a few times before I get it to work.

Thanks for the response. Yes I have seen that and tried but for whatever reason it’s not working for me. Curious if anyone has a suggestion or has had the same problem.

You can always just use the Developer Tools Menu Shortcut app instead of a button pressing sequence.

Also, if you're using Netflix, you can connect a bluetooth keyboard and hit F8 to get the bitrate. Would have been nice if Amazon mapped that key to the info button on the remote.

Anyone using the current pay version of MRMC? I got it yesterday to try, and I like the menu's and scraper, but a few 1080p/24 tv shows I player were herky jerky at 1080p and 2160p.

Kodi Leia has been great, the scraper is just sometimes quirky. One thing I miss from the ATV4K is Infuse Pro.

I’m using a fire stick 4K and bbc iplayer and Netflix are a juddery mess. This is on my Sony 9005f. I have all the setting as recommended on here. It’s like the frame rate is all wrong. I have had to switch back to using the Sony’s inbuilt app. Any ideas?

Are you using the little HDMI extension that came with the stick? If so try it without. Their have been reports of the extension causing judder. If that doesn’t help, have you experimented with the settings within Settings, Display & Sounds, Display? Have you tried it with Match Original Frame Rate both on and off? If that doesn’t help have you tried experimenting with the settings for Color Depth and Color Format (they shouldn’t cause judder but who knows)? Try various combinations to see if you get any improvement. I have seen no issues but I don’t have any Sony displays.

Anybody else having issues today with home screen, watchlist or recently viewed? My watchlist is scrambled and lots of stuff missing, can't add anything to it, some titles just open a blank screen. My account works fine from PC or Roku, every thing is there as it should be and plays fine.

Already been through all the "delete app data, reboot, etc" to no avail. If I need to call a CSR I'll have to break out the 18 yr old scotch first.

Haven’t any issues with running anything on my stick today.

I’m with you on needing a scotch or two before calling pretty much any customer support...LOL!

!
I even tried a full reset to factory defaults which didn't help.Today the main issue is the watchlist ordering is random. If I add a title to watchlist it vanishes to some random spot in the order. Which makes it pretty useless. Odd thing is that my watchlist is perfectly normal if I access it from PC or Roku.

What watch list are you talking about? Within what app? Sounds like an app issue rather than a FireTV Stick issue.

My amazon video watchlist. It supposed to be ordered by date added, until yesterday the order is random.

Sorry, you said Home screen, which is the screen you are on when you have “Home” highlighted on the top, which doesn’t have a watchlist. That had me confused. The Watchlist on the “Your Videos” screen is not something I ever use. I just took a look at mine and I can tell you it is definitely not in the order of most recently viewed for me. I can’t confirm that that is a change in behavior since, as I said, I have never even looked at that Watchlist before.

Or, are you talking about the “Your Watchlist” inside the Prime Video app? If so then that is more of an app issue. Again, not something I use so don’t really know, sorry.

Mark

new Firmware available

Firmware M43.R.0277 for UBP-X700

Benefits and improvements from the latest update

Removes the Gracenote® function

I checked, no Auto mode for Dolby Vision with this update. It still applies Dolby Vision tags to media not intended for Dolby Vision playback.

Today, as if by magic, title sorting is back to normal again.

I noticed that a week or so ago. Apparently this update does not register and is rolling out in stages.

It does video frame rate switching on mine, if that’s what you are talking about. Do you have “Match Original Frame Rate” set to “on” on your FireTV Stick 4k? Do you have “Autoframerate” selected in the SmartYouTubeTV app?

No worries. Just wish NetFlix would get it fixed already. You would think they would pay more attention to one of the most popular steaming devices...🤔
