Best audio stream between LG C6 apps vs. apps on PS4 Pro?

GoT is coming, the video streams these days do fine but it's the audio that has been lagging and why I still buy discs, so:

Any way I can see what the bitrate/channels are coming from each source? My options are the built in apps for Hulu and Amazon on the LG, or running them on the PS4.

They should be basically the same. They are all very low bitrates. If there is any difference at all it would be extremely minor.

It's apples and oranges when compared to the Blu-ray Disc audio. There is no comparison.

So you either watch it now with the lower quality audio, or wait for it on disc. Your average viewer has no clue and wouldn't care anyway. Which is why they can get away with having such low bitrates for the audio and video.

So I did some testing, and while I don't have the solid numbers on the bitrates, it does seem like the Amazon app on the display has the best sound and picture.

One thing that that very obvious, the Hulu "Live TV" service is CONSIDERABLY lower quality than anything that is streamed "on demand". So if you have Hulu Live TV with HBO, DO NOT watch the GoT premier "live" with Hulu. The sound drops to just "Dolby Surround" and it's probably 720p max. When you play something else, like any current episode of GoT, it's Dolby Digital + Surround and much better video.

I'm alright watching GoT on streaming since we can have friends over that want to follow the series but most of my movie viewing will still be discs. Just got the Hero blu-ray yesterday actually, looking forward to it.
