Roku and BenQ HT3550 projector no HDR why ?

I go to check picture quality and get 4K and HDCP 2.2 only no mention of HDR.

HDMI cable is the first thought... if you have a long cable, many are marginal once you get to the speed requirements of 4K HDR... maybe try a short certified 18gbps cable first and see if that works to either confirm or eliminate the cable as the issue.
