Yes, the screen being curved is a common problem.

There may be some pink on many screens, but it generally is no where near as bad as what you have. That is really bad pink staining on the right. So what you are seeing is not common.

I've seen the exact same pink staining on all the 55EG9100 I've seen in stores though, so I'm beginning to wonder if there is any hope of getting one without it. Some of the ones I saw in stores were even worse actually

Gonna talk to the vendor today about it. If there is no solution to this I'll sell it really cheap, trade it for used plasma/LCD or give it away.

This was non stop in the 9100 thread for about a month until the mods go involved. I have a 9100 with no tint problems but some people won't face facts.

LG 77C8
LG 55B7A
DirectTV/ ATV4k/Panasonic UB820/Sony Z9F Soundbar
Calman Enthusiast, Lightspace, C6 HDR 2000 I1Pro2

You see the tint on every 9100. What about 9300s? What about the 4k sets? The OLEDS all have filters on them, you may have to accept this technology is not for you

So glad my 9300 doesn't even show a hint of this. I couldn't live with that at all.
