The reason I'm asking is when I stream from my K-8500 4k players Netflix app via HDMI, my Denon display shows "DD+ + Dolby Surround" (2 plus signs). However, when streaming from my G6 app my Denon display just shows "DD + Dolby Surround" and I'm just getting regular Dolby Digital.

I'll check but I now think you're right. I didn't know I should have two "+" signs.

The EF without the crosstalk occasional banding and low-light vertical lines is awesome to see the 95% or so of the time they don't show up. Looking forward to get mine soon.

Did LG offer you an exchange to a G/E series too?
I wish LG would make me an offer. I think they did that for someone here and I wish I knew who they talked to at LG but mine is thru my warranty that I purchased when I got the TV.

Anyone know what the recent update is about (v03.10.03)? Couldn't find a list of fixes/changes on LGs website.

Just got my G6 last week and could not stream Netflix Dolby Vision (Marco Polo) until this update was installed. Now it streams fine.

My Price is a special deal - therefore not an official price - and I'm not dealing with prices here. But its less than the UVP in the states.
they have also some EF9500 for a flexible price (he mentioned). But anyway - all the recently new TVs on the market seems to be in a high level price segment.

btw - LG Austria is also responsible for switzerland - and when I have a look at all the local websites - they are not really pushing OLED - probably they expect more turnover from the Handy Selling. I'm in the "cain't wait" mode...

Look around for a separate power switch. Don't know if the LGs have it but I've had other displays where a master power switch before the regular power switch would be active.

I would be surprised...none of the previous LG OLEDs possess such a toggle switch.

When upscaling a Blu-ray using the Samsung K-8500 UHD Blu-ray player I'm getting almost like a digital artifact when showing people's faces.

Is anyone else getting that when playing a regular Blu-ray in the Samsung player?

I switched to my Oppo-93 & it alleviates somewhat but my Oppo doesn't upscale to 4k. It's a 1080p player. t only notice it when it shows someone's face or something of similar color.

I don't know if it could be my G6 or the player or maybe an HDMI cable. I have a pretty expensive HDMI cable that supports 18gb.

I haven't really noticed it on 4k UHD Blu-rays so far.

Could someone else try a regular Blu-ray using the Samsung player.

My G6 was calibrated before shipping so I'm using ISF night mode to play Blu-rays.

Do the ISF modes in the LGs become locked out once calibrated like they are in Kuros?

Another idea, if all the outlets were on the same circuit you may have a blown fuse/breaker. Try connecting a table lamp to the outlet to verify that its actually receiving power.

Look at the left side of the stand, the diagonal area just behind the screen. You will see a silver power button.

Some of the controls are locked out such as gamma.

Most of them you can change.

It is only showing the digital artifacts in ISF night mode.

It doesn't show it in ISF day mode.

Unfortunately ISF night mode looks a lot better.

I primarily watch regular blu rays through my Samsung 4k player with ISF dark room and haven't noticed any issues. I don't have mine calibrated yet other than basic settings. Might try and calibrate today while the wife is out

Although there were many reports that you needed to look fairly close to eye level to avoid crosstalk (and LG apparently considers that to be "normal") some reviews said you could lie on the floor and not get any crosstalk, so this seems variable. A lot of EF9500s were returned for replacement for faulty 3D.
Is this true? The 3D on my EF950 is the best I've ever seen, as long as I'm eye level with it. It's wall mounted and if I sit down there's cross talk. So this isn't normal?

I hope not sitting eye level for the E6 will give you crosstalk in regards to 3D. Because that’s just not viable with my set-up. The TV stand is higher than where we sit. Not real high up, like if you had the TV above a fireplace, but it definitely isn’t eye level.

I guess if it is an issue, then will just need to live without 3D. However much I would like the option for it, it’s not my number one priority. Unless someone would have a suggestion to resolve the issue (besides getting a different TV stand).

What about the Dynamic Mount that pulls down and out, and also tilts down when in the up position?

I tried all the suggestions from everyone, but it is still DOA. Just my luck. BB will be sending another out on this Thursday. I have not installed the wall mount yet as the room is not ready. It is the LG OTW150 and was included in the package.

You stated the standard Vesa pattern works on the new sets, so buy any universal mount for far less.......would be my advise.........

The OTW150 is for last years models. I don't think it will work with the 2016 sets.

I have a universal mount coming with my set, but was curious about the LG mount. I've read that due to the lower mounting point of the LG OLEDs, some universal mounts might stick out from the bottom.
